Political Parties
- EnglishAll citizens have the right to freely constitute associations, groups, societies and political parties in accordance with the texts in force.
The associations, the groups, the societies and the political parties of which the activities are contrary to the public order as well as to the unity and to the cohesion of the Central African People[,] are prohibited. Les associations, les groupements, les sociétés et les partis politiques dont les activités sont contraires à l’ordre public ainsi qu’à l’unité et à la cohésion du peuple centrafricain sont prohibés. (Art. 14)
Political Parties
- EnglishThe political parties and/or groups of political parties concur in the expression of suffrage.
They form and exercise their activities freely within respect for the Constitution, and for the principles of national sovereignty and of democracy.
It is forbidden to them to identify themselves to a race, to an ethnicity, to a sex, to a religion, to a sect, to a language or to a region.
The formalities concerning the administrative declaration of the political parties and/or groups, and to the exercise and to the cessation of their activities are determined by the law. (Art. 6) - Arabicتوافق الأحزاب السياسية و/أو مجموعات الأحزاب السياسية على التعبير عن الاقتراع،
تشكل وتمارس أنشطتها بحرية في إطار احترام الدستور ومبادئ السيادة الوطنية والديمقراطية،

Ils se forment et exercent leur activité librement dans le respect de la Constitution, des principes de la souveraineté nationale et de la démocratie.
Il leur est interdit de s'identifier à une race, à une ethnie, à un sexe, à une religion, à une secte, à une langue ou à une région.
Les formalités relatives à la déclaration administrative des partis politiques et/ou groupements de partis politiques, à l'exercice et à la cessation de leur activité sont déterminées par la loi. (Art. 6)

Political Parties
- EnglishThe political Parties and groups concur in the exercise of suffrage, as well as in the civic and political instruction [formation] of the people. They form and exercise their activities freely in accordance with the law.
They must respect the national unity, sovereignty and the inviolability [intangibilité] of the frontiers, such as they are internationally recognized, as well as the principles of democracy.
The constitution of insular political parties, regional or local or having a paramilitary character or [having] recourse to subversive methods, is prohibited.
The law determines the juridical status of the political parties and regulates the benefits that may be grated to them by the State. (Art. 35) - Arabicتوافق الأحزاب والمجموعات السياسية على ممارسة الاقتراع، إلى جانب التوجيه المدني والسياسي للشعب. تشكل وتمارس أنشطتها بحرية وفقاً للقانون.
ويترتب عليها احترام الوحدة الوطنية وسيادة وحرمة الحدود كما هو معترف بها دولياً، إلى جانب مبادئ الديمقراطية. يحظر إنشاء أحزاب سياسية جزيرية إقليمية أو محلية أو ذات طابع شبه عسكري أو تلجأ إلى أساليب هدامة.
يحدد القانون المركز القانوني للأحزاب السياسية وينظم المزايا الممنوحة لها من الدولة. Ils se forment et exercent librement leurs activités conformément à la loi.
Ils doivent respecter l’unité nationale, la souveraineté et l’intangibilité des frontières, telles qu’internationalement reconnues, ainsi que les principes de la démocratie.
Est interdite la constitution de partis politiques insulaires, régionaux ou locaux ou ayant un caractère paramilitaire ou recourant à des moyens subversifs.
La loi détermine le statut juridique des partis politiques et réglemente les avantages qui peuvent leur être accordés par l'État. (Art. 35)

Any person has the right to freely constitute associations, under reserve of conforming themselves to the law.
This same right is recognized for the creation of political parties. The conditions of their creation are determined by a law on political parties and their financing.
The associations and the political parties that jeopardize the unity of the Nation and the republican principles, and that advocate totalitarianism or segregation of ethnic, tribal or religious character, are prohibited.
The parties and political organizations participate in the expression of the suffrage.

Toute personne a le droit de constituer librement des associations sous réserve de se conformer à la loi.
Ce même droit est reconnu pour la création de partis politiques. Les conditions de leur création sont déterminées par une loi sur les partis politiques et leur financement.
Sont interdits les associations et les partis politiques qui mettent en cause l’unité de la Nation et les principes républicains, et qui prônent le totalitarisme ou le ségrégationnisme à caractère ethnique, tribal ou confessionnel.
Les partis et organisations politiques concourent à l’expression du suffrage.
