(iv) referendums;

(g) to design, print and distribute ballot papers, approve the form of and procure ballot boxes, and establish and operate polling centres;
(h) to conduct and supervise voter education;
(i) to accredit observers of elections and referendums;
(j) to give instructions to persons in the employment of the State or of a local authority for the purpose of ensuring the efficient, free, fair, proper and transparent conduct of any election or referendum; and
(k) to receive and consider complaints from the public and to take such action in regard to the complaints as it considers appropriate. (Sec. 239)

The Independent National Authority of Elections has as [its] mission to prepare, to organize, to administer and to supervise the presidential, legislative, [and] local elections as well as the operations of referendum.
The Independent National Authority of Elections exercises its missions on the operations of registration on the electoral lists and their revision, as well as the operations of preparation of the electoral operation, of the operations of voting, of counting and decides on electoral disputes, in accordance with the legislation in force.
It exercises its missions from the convocation of the electoral body until the announcement of the provisional results.

L’Autorité nationale indépendante des élections a pour mission de préparer, d’organiser, de gérer et de superviser les élections présidentielles, législatives, locales, ainsi que les opérations de référendum.
L’Autorité nationale indépendante des élections exerce ses missions sur les opérations d’inscription sur les listes électorales et leur révision, ainsi que les opérations de préparation de l’opération électorale, des opérations de vote, de dépouillement et se prononce sur le contentieux électoral, conformément à la législation en vigueur.
Elle exerce ses missions depuis la convocation du corps électoral jusqu’à l’annonce des résultats provisoires.
L’Autorité nationale indépendante des élections exerce ses missions dans la transparence, avec impartialité et neutralité. (Art. 202)
