Workers shall be entitled to a remuneration commensurate to the quantity and quality of their work and in any case such as to ensure them and their families a free and dignified existence.
The maximum daily working hours shall be established by law.
Workers shall have the right to a weekly rest day and paid yearly holidays. They may not waive this right. (Art. 36) - Italian
Il lavoratore ha diritto ad una retribuzione proporzionata alla quantità e qualità del suo lavoro e in ogni caso sufficiente ad assicurare a sé e alla famiglia un’esistenza libera e dignitosa.

All citizens shall have equal social dignity and shall be equal before the law, without distinction of gender, race, language, religion, political opinion, personal and social conditions.
It shall be the duty of the Republic to remove those obstacles of an economic or social nature which constrain the freedom and equality of citizens, thereby impeding the full development of the human person and the effective participation of all workers in the political, economic and social organisation of the country. It is the duty and right of parents to support, raise and educate their children, even if born out of wedlock.
Is case of incapacity of the parents, the law shall provide for the fulfilment of their duties.
The law shall ensure any children born out of wedlock all legal and social protection measures as are compatible with the rights of the members of the legitimate family.
The law shall establish rules and limits for the determination of paternity. (Art. 30) - Italian
È dovere e diritto dei genitori mantenere, istruire ed educare i figli, anche se nati fuori del matrimonio.
Nei casi di incapacità dei genitori, la legge provvede a che siano assolti i loro compiti.
La legge assicura ai figli nati fuori del matrimonio ogni tutela giuridica e sociale, compatibile con i diritti dei membri della famiglia legittima.
