Protection from Violence

The State is responsible for the security of persons and of assets. (Art. 28)

The State guarantees the inviolability of the human person.
Any form of physical and moral violence or infringement of dignity is proscribed.
Torture, cruel, inhuman or degrading treatments as well as trafficking in persons are punished [réprimés] by the law. (Art. 39) - Arabic
تضمن الدولة عدم انتهاك حرمة الإنسان.
يحظر أي عنف بدني أو معنوي، أو أي مساس بالكرامة.
يعاقب القانون على التعذيب، وعلى المعاملات القاسية، واللا إنسانية أو المهينة، والاتجار بالبشر. (المادة 39) - French
L’Etat garantit l’inviolabilité de la personne humaine.
Toute forme de violence physique et morale et d'atteinte à la dignité est proscrite.
La torture, les traitements cruels, inhumains ou dégradants ainsi que la traite des personnes sont réprimés par la loi. (Art. 39)
Protection from Violence

The State protects women against all forms of violence in all places and in all circumstances in the public space, in the professional sphere and in the private sphere. The law guarantees the access of victims to supportive structures [structures d’accueuil], to mechanisms [dispositifs] of taking responsibility, and to judicial assistance. (Art. 40)

تحمي الدولة المرأة من كل أشكال العنـف في كل الأماكن والظروف، في الفضاء العمومي وفي المجالين المهني والخاص. ويضمن القانون استفادة الضحايا من هياكل الاستقبال ومن أنظمة التكفل، ومن مساعدة قضائية. (المادة 40)

L’Etat protège la femme contre toutes formes de violence en tous lieux et en toute circonstance dans l’espace public, dans la sphère professionnelle et dans la sphère privée. La loi garantit l’accès des victimes à des structures d’accueil, à des dispositifs de prise en charge, et à une assistance judiciaire. (Art. 40)
