Equality and Non-Discrimination

    The Union of the Comoros recognizes equally the equality of all citizens before the law, without distinction of race, of sex, of religion, of political conviction, and assures the full enjoyment of the fundamental freedoms for all citizens. (Art. 2)

    يعترف اتحاد جزر القمر أيضاً بالمساواة بين جميع المواطنين أمام القانون، دون التمييز على أساس العنصر، الجنس، الدين، القناعة السياسية، ويضمن التمتع الكامل بالحريات الأساسية لجميع المواطنين. (المادة 2)

    L’Union des Comores reconnaît également l'égalité de tous les citoyens devant la loi, sans distinction de race, de sexe, de religion, de conviction politique, et assure la pleine jouissance des libertés fondamentales pour tous les citoyens. (Art. 2)

    Every individual has the duty to respect and to consider their fellow men [semblables] without discrimination of any kind, and to maintain with them relations of [a] nature to promote, to safeguard and to reinforce reciprocal respect and tolerance. (Art. 47)

    يتوجب على كل مواطن احترام واعتبار أخيه الإنسان دون تمييز من أي نوع، والحفاظ معه على علاقات طبيعية لتعزيز وحماية وتوطيد احترام وتسامح متبادلين. (المادة 47)
  • French
    Tout individu a le devoir de respecter et de considérer ses semblables sans discrimination d'aucune sorte, et de maintenir avec eux des relations de nature à promouvoir, à sauvegarder et à renforcer le respect et la tolérance réciproques. (Art. 47)
