    I. The marriage between a man and a woman is formed by legal bond and is based on equality of the rights and duties of the spouses.

    Because of the best interests of children and adolescents and their right to the identity, presumed parentage shall be validated by indication of the mother or father. This presumption shall be valid in the absence of proof of the contrary, with the burden of proof on the person who denies parentage. In case that the proof negates the presumption, the costs incurred shall correspond to the one who indicated parentage. (Art. 65)
