Constitution of Mongolia 1992, as amended to 2023
Status of International Law

1. Mongolia shall adhere to the universally recognized norms and principles of international law and pursue a peaceful foreign policy.
2. Mongolia shall fulfill in good faith its obligations under international treaties to which it is a Party.
3. The international treaties to which Mongolia is a Party shall become effective as domestic legislation upon the entry into force of the laws on their ratification or accession.
4. Mongolia shall not abide by any international treaty or other instruments incompatible with its Constitution. (Art. 10) - Mongolian
1. Монгол Улс олон улсын эрх зүйн нийтээр хүлээн зөвшөөрсөн хэм хэмжээ, зарчмыг баримталж энхийг эрхэмлэсэн гадаад бодлого явуулна.
2. Монгол Улс олон улсын гэрээгээр хүлээсэн үүргээ шударгаар сахин биелүүлнэ.
3. Монгол Улсын олон улсын гэрээ нь соёрхон баталсан буюу нэгдэн орсон тухай хууль хүчин төгөлдөр болмогц дотоодын хууль тогтоомжийн нэгэн адил үйлчилнэ.
4. Монгол Улс Үндсэн хуульдаа харшилсан олон улсын гэрээ, бусад баримт бичгийг дагаж мөрдөхгүй. (Аравдугаар зүйл)

2. The Constitutional court in accordance with Paragraph 1 of this Article shall make and submit conclusion to the State Great Khural on the following issues under a dispute:
1/ whether laws, decrees and other decisions of the State Great Khural and the President, as well as Government decisions and international treaties to which Mongolia is a party are in conformity with the Constitution or not;

If the Constitutional court decides that the laws, decrees and other decisions of the State Great Khural and the President as well as Government decisions and international treaties to which Mongolia is a party are inconsistent with the Constitution, the laws, decrees, instruments of ratification and decisions in question shall be considered invalid.
