Constitution of Nepal 2015, as amended to 2020
Vice-President
- English
(1) A person who has the following qualifications shall be eligible to become the President:-
(a) One who is eligible to become a member of the Federal Parliament;
(b) On who has completed the age of at least forty-five years; and
(c) One who is not disqualified by any law.

(१) देहायको योग्यता भएको व्यक्ति राष्ट्रपति हुनका लागि योग्य हुनेछः–
(क) संघीय संसदको सदस्य हुन योग्य भएको,
(ख) कम्तीमा पैंतालिस वर्ष उमेर पूरा भएको, र
(ग) कुनै कानूनले अयोग्य नभएको ।

Vice-President
- English(1) There shall be a Vice-president of Nepal.
(2) The functions to be performed by the President shall be performed by the Vice-president during the absence of the President.

(२) राष्ट्रपतिको अनुपस्थितिमा राष्ट्रपतिबाट गरिने कार्यहरू उपराष्ट्रपतिबाट सम्पादन गरिनेछ ।

Vice-President
- EnglishProvisions relating to the qualification, procedures of election and term of office of the Vice-President shall be the same as that of the President. (Art. 69)

Vice-President
- EnglishElection to the President and the Vice-president under this Constitution shall be so made as to have representation of different sex or community. (Art. 70)
- Nepaliयस संविधान बमोजिम राष्ट्रपति र उपराष्ट्रपतिको निर्वाचन फरक फरक लिंग वा समुदायको प्रतिनिधित्व हुने गरी गर्नु पर्नेछ । (धारा ७०)
