Status of the Constitution
- English1. This Constitution shall enter into force upon signature of the General Framework Agreement as a constitutional act amending and superseding the Constitution of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
2. Within three months from the entry into force of this Constitution, the Entities shall amend their respective constitutions to ensure their conformity with this Constitution in accordance with Article III(3)(b). (Art. XII) - Bosnian1. Ustav će stupiti na snagu po potpisivanju Opšteg okvirnog sporazuma kao ustavni akt, kojim se amandmanski zamjenjuje i stavlja van snage Ustav Republike Bosne i Hercegovine.
2. U roku od tri mjeseca od stupanja na snagu ovog Ustava, entiteti će amandmanskim postupkom izmijeniti svoje ustave da bi se osigurala saglasnost sa ovim Ustavom u skladu sa članom III, stav 3, tačka (b). (Član XII) - Croatian1. Ovaj Ustav će stupiti na snagu nakon potpisivanja Općeg okvirnog sporazuma kao ustavni akt koji zamjenjuje i stavlja van snage Ustav Republike Bosne i Hercegovine.
2. U roku od tri mjeseca od stupanja na snagu ovoga Ustava, entiteti će izvršiti izmjene svojih ustava kako bi ih usuglasili s ovim Ustavom, sukladno članku III, stavak 3, točka (b). - EnglishThe decisions of the Constitutional Court are not susceptible to any recourse. They impose themselves on the public powers, on all the administrative and jurisdictional authorities, and on all physical or juridical persons.
Any text declared unconstitutional is null and of no effect; it may neither be promulgated nor applied. If it is in force, it is removed from the juridical order [ordonnancement].

(5) Without prejudice to the application of the Constitution of Zanzibar in accordance with this Constitution concerning all matters pertaining to Tanzania Zanzibar which are not Union Matters, this Constitution shall have the force of law in the whole of the United Republic, and in the event any other law conflicts with the provisions contained in this Constitution, the Constitution shall prevail and that other law, to the extent of the inconsistency with the Constitution, shall be void.
