In the absence of other means of opposing a forcible attempt to change the constitutional order of Estonia, every citizen of Estonia has the right to resist such an attempt of his or her own initiative. When the Constitutional Court judges that a treaty, accord or convention is unconstitutional, its ratification may not take place.
When the Constitutional Court judges that a law is unconstitutional, this may not be promulgated.
When a provision of an ordinance or of a regulation is judged unconstitutional, this loses all effect, counting from the day of the decision of the Court.
When the Constitutional Court judges that a legislative or regulatory provision is unconstitutional on the basis of Article 195 above, it loses all effect, counting from the day established by the decision of the Court.

إذا قررت المحكمة الدستورية عدم دستورّية معاهدة أو ا ّتفاق أو ا ّتفاقّية، فال يتّم التصديق عليها.
