(6) If a law is rescinded as unconstitutional by a ruling of the Constitutional Court, the legal provisions rescinded by the law which the Constitutional Court has pronounced unconstitutional enter into force again unless the judgement pronounces otherwise, on the day of entry into force of the rescission. The publication on the rescission of the law shall also announce whether and which legal provisions again enter into force.
(7) If a law has been rescinded on the score of unconstitutionality or if the Constitutional Court has pursuant to para 4 above pronounced a law to be unconstitutional, all courts and administrative authorities are bound by the Constitutional Court’s decision. The law shall however continue to apply to the circumstances effected before the rescission the case in point excepted, unless the Constitutional Court in its rescissory ruling decides otherwise.

(6) Wird durch ein Erkenntnis des Verfassungsgerichtshofes ein Gesetz als verfassungswidrig aufgehoben, so treten mit dem Tag des Inkrafttretens der Aufhebung, falls das Erkenntnis nicht anderes ausspricht, die gesetzlichen Bestimmungen wieder in Kraft, die durch das vom Verfassungsgerichtshof als verfassungswidrig erkannte Gesetz aufgehoben worden waren. - EnglishThe legislation and the regulations in force in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania continue to be applicable as long as they have not been modified, in the forms specified in the Constitution.
The laws prior to the Constitution must be modified, if it applies, to render them in conformity with the constitutional rights and freedoms within a time period not exceeding three years counting from the date of promulgation of this Constitutional Law.
In case that the modifications provided for in the preceding paragraph are not adopted [apportées] in the prescribed times, any individual can refer [déférer] these laws to the Constitutional Council for examination of their constitutionality. The provisions declared unconstitutional may not be applied. (Art. 102) - Arabicيستمرّ العمل بالقوانين والنظم القائمة بالجمهورية الإسلامية الموريتانية ما لم تعدل طبقا للشكل المنصوص عليه في الدستور.
تعدل القوانين السابقة للدستور عند الاقتضاء من أجل مطابقتها مع الحقوق والحريات الدستورية في أجل لا يتعدى ثلاث (3) سنوات اعتبارا من تاريخ إصدار هذا القانون الدستوري.

(المادّة 102) - FrenchLa législation et la réglementation en vigueur en République islamique de Mauritanie restent applicables tant qu’elles n’ont pas été modifiées, dans les formes prévues par la Constitution.
Les lois antérieures à la Constitution doivent être modifiées, s’il y a lieu, pour les rendre conformes aux droits et libertés constitutionnels, dans un délai n’excédant pas trois (3) ans pour compter de la date de promulgation de la présente loi constitutionnelle.
