- EnglishThe international treaties existing prior to the Constitution, which do not contradict it, shall be maintained in the internal legal order with the rank of law. Within the period of four years after the election of the new Executive Organ, the Executive shall renounce and, in that case, renegotiate the international treaties that may be contrary to the Constitution. 1. The current law in the Republic of Kazakhstan is the norms of the Constitution, laws corresponding to it, other regulatory legal acts, international treaty and other obligations of the Republic, as well as regulatory resolutions of the Constitutional Court and the Supreme Court of the Republic.

3. International agreements ratified by the Republic have primacy over its laws. The legislation of the Republic determines the procedure and conditions of operation of international agreements in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan to which Kazakhstan is a party.
4. All laws and international agreements, where the Republic is a party, shall be published. Official publication of regulatory and legal acts, dealing with the rights, freedoms, and responsibilities of citizens shall be the necessary condition for their application. (Art. 4) - Kazak

If the Constitutional Council, referred [to the matter] by the President of the Republic, the President of the National Assembly or of the Senate or by one-tenth at least of the Deputies or of the Senators, has declared that an international treaty or agreement includes a clause contrary to the Constitution, the authorization to ratify it can take place only after revision of the Constitution. (b) Despite the provisions of article (a), citizens shall only be required to act in compliance with treaties ratified by the State as provided for in a law enacted by the People’s Majlis. - EnglishThe Republic of the Union of Myanmar shall honour all legitimate obligations arising out of treaties or agreements which before the commencement of this Constitution have been in operation between the Government of the Union of Myanmar and the Government of other State, provided that such other State honours any reciprocal obligations towards the Union of Myanmar. Status of International Law
- English(1) The Romanian State pledges to fulfil as such and in good faith its obligations as deriving from the treaties it is a party to.
(2) Treaties ratified by Parliament, according to the law, are part of national law.
(3) If a treaty Romania is to become a party to comprises provisions contrary to the Constitution, its ratification shall only take place after the revision of the Constitution. (Art. 11) - Romanian(1) Statul român se obligă să îndeplinească întocmai şi cu bună-credinţă obligaţiile ce-i revin din tratatele la care este parte.
(2) Tratatele ratificate de Parlament, potrivit legii, fac parte din dreptul intern.
(3) În cazul în care un tratat la care România urmează să devină parte cuprinde dispoziţii contrare Constituţiei, ratificarea lui poate avea loc numai după revizuirea Constituţiei. (Art. 11)
