Status of International Law
- EnglishI. Every person, natural and legal, as well as public organs, public functions and institutions, are subject to the present Constitution.
II. The Constitution is the supreme norm of Bolivian law and enjoys supremacy before any other normative disposition. The components of constitutional law include the international Treaties and Conventions in the matter of human rights and the norms of Communitarian Law, which have been ratified by the country. The application of the legal norms shall be governed by the following hierarchy, in accordance with the authority of the territorial entities:
1. Constitution of the State.
2. International treaties.
3. National laws, statutes of the autonomies, organic charters and the other departmental, municipal and indigenous legislation.
4. Decrees, regulations and other resolutions issued by the corresponding executive organs. (Art. 410) - SpanishI. Todas las personas, naturales y jurídicas, así como los órganos públicos, funciones públicas e instituciones, se encuentran sometidos a la presente Constitución.
II. La Constitución es la norma suprema del ordenamiento jurídico boliviano y goza de primacía frente a cualquier otra disposición normativa. El bloque de constitucionalidad está integrado por los Tratados y Convenios internacionales en materia de Derechos Humanos y las normas de Derecho Comunitario, ratificados por el país. La aplicación de las normas jurídicas se regirá por la siguiente jerarquía, de acuerdo a las competencias de las entidades territoriales:
1. Constitución Política del Estado.
2. Los tratados internacionales.
3. Las leyes nacionales, los estatutos autonómicos, las cartas orgánicas y el resto de legislación departamental, municipal e indígena.

- EnglishThe Russian Federation may participate in interstate associations and transfer some of its powers to those associations in accordance with international treaties of the Russian Federation provided that this does not entail restrictions on human and civil rights and freedoms and does not conflict with the basic principles of the constitutional order of the Russian Federation. Decisions of international bodies, taken on the basis of provisions of international treaties of the Russian Federation in their interpretation that contradicts the Constitution of the Russian Federation shall not be executed in the Russian Federation. - EnglishThe Dominican Republic is a State member of the international community, open to cooperation and tied to the norms of international law, consequently:
1. It recognizes and applies the norms of international law, general and American, in the method in which its public powers have adopted them;
2. The norms in effect from international ratified agreements shall rule in the internal realm, once published in an official manner;
3. The international relations of the Dominican Republic are based and ruled by the affirmation and promotion of its national values and interests, respect for human rights and international law;
4. In equality of conditions with other States, the Dominican Republic accepts an international judicial system that guarantees respect of fundamental rights, peace, justice, and political, social, economic and cultural development of nations.

(1) The Constitutional Court shall decide on the conformity of negotiated international treaties to which the assent of the National Council of the Slovak Republic with the Constitution and constitutional law is necessary.
(2) The President of the Slovak Republic or the Government may submit a proposal for a decision pursuant to paragraph 1 to the Constitutional Court prior to the presentation of a negotiated international treaty for discussion of the National Council of the Slovak Republic.
(3) The Constitutional Court shall decide on a proposal pursuant to paragraph 2 within a period laid down by a law; if the Constitutional Court holds in its decision that the international treaty is not in conformity with the Constitution or constitutional law, such international treaty cannot be ratified. (1) Ústavný súd rozhoduje o súlade dojednaných medzinárodných zmlúv, na ktoré je potrebný súhlas Národnej rady Slovenskej republiky, s ústavou alebo s ústavným zákonom.
(2) Návrh na rozhodnutie podľa odseku 1 môţe podať ústavnému súdu prezident Slovenskej republiky alebo vláda pred tým, ako predloţí dojednanú medzinárodnú zmluvu na rokovanie Národnej rady Slovenskej republiky.
(3) Ústavný súd rozhodne o návrhu podľa odseku 2 do lehoty ustanovenej zákonom; ak ústavný súd svojím rozhodnutím vysloví, ţe medzinárodná zmluva nie je v súlade s ústavou alebo s ústavným zákonom, takú medzinárodnú zmluvu nemoţno ratifikovať. (Čl. 125a)

1. To be the supreme body for interpreting the Constitution and international human rights treaties ratified by the Ecuadorian State by its rulings and judgments. Its decisions shall be binding.

1. Every ratified international agreement constitutes part of the internal juridical system after it is published in the Official Journal of the Republic of Albania. It is implemented directly, except for cases when it is not self-executing and its implementation requires issuance of a law. The amendment, supplementation and repeal of laws approved by majority of all members of the Assembly, for the effect of ratifying an international agreement, is done with the same majority.
2. An international agreement that has been ratified by law has superiority over laws of the country that are not compatible with it.
3. The norms issued by an international organization have superiority, in case of conflict, on the legislation of the country, when the agreement ratified by the Republic of Albania for its participation in this organization, expressly provide for the direct applicability of the norms issued by this organisation. 1. Çdo marrëveshje ndërkombëtare e ratifikuar përbën pjesë të sistemit të brendshëm juridik pasi botohet në Fletoren Zyrtare të Republikës së Shqipërisë.
