(1) The Republic of Moldova commits to observe the Charter of the United Nations and the treaties to which it is a party, to ground its relationships with other states on the unanimously recognized principles and norms of international law.
(2) The coming into force of an international treaty containing provisions which are contrary to the Constitution shall be preceded by a revision of the latter. (Art. 8) - Moldovian

- English1. General or common international law shall be an integral part of the Cabo Verdean legal order.
2. International treaties and agreements, validly approved or ratified, shall enter into force in the Cabo Verdean legal order subsequent to their official publication and entry into force in the international legal order as long as they remain internationally binding on the State of Cabo Verde.
3. Legal acts emanating from the competent organs of supranational organizations of which Cabo Verde is a member, shall enter directly into force in the domestic legal order, provided that such entry into force is established in the respective constitutive conventions.
4. The rules and principles of general or common as well as of conventional international law validly approved or ratified shall prevail, after their entry into force in the international and domestic legal orders, over all legislative and domestic regulatory acts of infra-constitutional force. 3. Os actos jurídicos emanados dos órgãos competentes das organizações supranacionais de que Cabo Verde seja parte vigoram directamente na ordem jurídica interna, desde que tal esteja estabelecido nas respectivas convenções constitutivas.
4. As normas e os princípios do direito internacional geral ou comum e do direito internacional convencional validamente aprovados ou ratificados têm prevalência, após a sua entrada em vigor na ordem jurídica internacional e interna, sobre todos os actos legislativos e normativos internos de valor infraconstitucional. Si la Cour Suprême, saisie par le Président de l’Union, par le Président de l’Assemblée de l’Union ou par les Gouverneurs des Iles, déclare qu’un engagement international comporte une clause contraire à la Constitution, l’autorisation de la ratifier ou de l’approuver ne peut intervenir qu’après la révision de la Constitution.

- EnglishInternational treaties and agreements ratified by the Congress that recognize human rights and that prohibit their limitation in the states of emergency, have prevalence in the internal order. The rights and duties consecrated in this Charter will be interpreted in conformity with international treaties on human rights ratified by Colombia.
The Colombian State can recognize the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court in the terms specified in the Statute of Rome adopted on 17 of July of 1998 by the Plenipotentiary Conference of the United Nations and, consequently, to ratify this treaty in accordance within the procedure established in this Constitution.
The admission of a substantial disparity in treatment by the Statute of Rome with respect to the guarantees contained in the Constitution will have effects exclusively within the scope of the matter regulated in it. - English1. Norms that contravene the provisions of the Constitution or the principles enshrined therein are unconstitutional.
2. On condition that the norms in question are applied in the legal order of the other party, the organic or formal unconstitutionality of properly ratified international treaties does not prevent the application of the norms they contain in the Portuguese legal order, save if that unconstitutionality results from the breach of a fundamental provision of the Constitution.
