- English(1) The Federal Court shall, to the exclusion of any other court, have jurisdiction to determine in accordance with any rules of court regulating the exercise of such jurisdiction—
(a) any question whether a law made by Parliament or by the Legislature of a State is invalid on the ground that it makes provision with respect to a matter with respect to which Parliament or, as the case may be, the Legislature of the State has no power to make laws; and
(b) disputes on any other question between States or between the Federation and any State.
(2) Without prejudice to any appellate jurisdiction of the Federal Court, where in any proceedings before another court a question arises as to the effect of any provision of this Constitution, the Federal Court shall have jurisdiction (subject to any rules of court regulating the exercise of that jurisdiction) to determine the question and remit the case to the other court to be disposed of in accordance with the determination.

III. Upon request by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the General Procurator's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan or the Ali Majlis of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall examine the following matters:
1. the conformity with the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan of laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, decrees and orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, resolutions of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, resolutions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, normative and legal acts of central executive organs of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
2. the conformity with the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan of decrees of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, normative and legal acts of central executive organs of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
3. the conformity with the decrees and orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan of resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan and normative and legal acts of central executive organs of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
4. in cases specified by law the conformity of acts of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the Constitution and the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
5. the conformity of the acts of the municipalities with the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, decrees of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan (in the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic-also with the Constitution and the laws of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic and with the resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic);
6. the conformity of non-ratified inter-state treaties of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the conformity of intergovernmental treaties with the Constitution and the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
7. the conformity of the Constitution and the laws of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic, the resolutions of the Ali Majlis of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic, the resolutions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic with the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the conformity of the laws of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic, the resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic with the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the conformity of the resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic with the decrees and orders of the President and the resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
8. disputes related to the separation of powers between the legislative and executive branches.
IV. The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall interpret the Constitution and the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan upon application by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Office of the General Procurator of the Republic of Azerbaijan or the Ali Majlis of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic.
V. Everyone who claims to be the victim of a violation of his or her rights or freedoms by a decision of the legislative, executive and judiciary or by one of the municipal acts set forth in the items 1-7 of section of this Article may appeal, in accordance with the procedure provided for by law, to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the view of the restoration of his or her violated human rights and freedoms.
VI. In accordance with the procedure provided by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, courts may apply to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan for an interpretation of the Constitution and the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan with regard to issues arising out of the implementation of human rights and civil liberties.
VII. The Ombudsman of the Azerbaijan Republic shall apply to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan in cases where the rights and freedoms of a person have allegedly been violated by legislative acts in force, normative acts of the executive or of municipalities, or court decisions in accordance with the procedure provided for by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the adjudication of the cases and applications listed as items 1 to 7 in section III of the present Article.
VIII. The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall also perform the other duties specified in the present Constitution.

3) Azərbaycan Respublikası Nazirlər Kabinetinin qərarlarının, mərkəzi icra hakimiyyəti orqanlarının normativ hüquqi aktlarının Azərbaycan Respublikası Prezidentinin fərmanlarına uyğunluğu;
4) Azərbaycan Respublikası Ali Məhkəməsinin qərarlarının qanunda nəzərdə tutulmuş hallarda Azərbaycan Respublikası Konstitusiyasına və qanunlarına uyğunluğu;
5) bələdiyyə aktlarının Azərbaycan Respublikası Konstitusiyasına, Azərbaycan Respublikası qanunlarına, Azərbaycan Respublikası Prezidentinin fərmanlarına, Azərbaycan Respublikası Nazirlər Kabinetinin qərarlarına (Naxçıvan Muxtar Respublikasında həm də Naxçıvan Muxtar Respublikasının Konstitusiyasına, qanunlarına və Naxçıvan Muxtar Respublikası Nazirlər Kabinetinin qərarlarına) uyğunluğu;

IV. Azərbaycan Respublikasının Konstitusiya Məhkəməsi Azərbaycan Respublikası Prezidentinin, Azərbaycan Respublikası Milli Məclisinin, Azərbaycan Respublikası Nazirlər Kabinetinin, Azərbaycan Respublikası Ali Məhkəməsinin, Azərbaycan Respublikası Prokurorluğunun, Naxçıvan Muxtar Respublikası Ali Məclisinin sorğusu əsasında Azərbaycan Respublikasının Konstitusiyasını və qanunlarını şərh edir.
V. Hər kəs onun hüquq və azadlıqlarını pozan qanunvericilik və icra hakimiyyəti orqanlarının normativ aktlarından, bələdiyyə və məhkəmə aktlarından qanunla müəyyən edilmiş qaydada bu maddənin III hissəsinin 1-7-ci bəndlərində göstərilən məsələlərin Azərbaycan Respublikasının Konstitusiya Məhkəməsi tərəfindən həll edilməsi üçün Azərbaycan Respublikasının Konstitusiya Məhkəməsinə pozulmuş insan hüquq və azadlıqlarının bərpa edilməsi məqsədi ilə şikayət verə bilər.

(1) The Constitutional Court shall decide on a complaint against decision verifying or rejecting verification of the mandate of a Member of Parliament.
(2) The Constitutional Court shall decide whether the election of the President of the Slovak Republic, the elections to the National Council of the Slovak Republic, and to the European Parliament have been held in conformity with the Constitution and the law.
(3) The Constitutional Court shall decide on complaints against the result of a referendum and complaint against the result of a plebiscite on the recall of President of the Slovak Republic.
(4) The Constitutional Court shall decide whether a decision dissolving a political party or movement or suspending political activities thereof is in conformity with the constitutional laws and other laws.
(5) The Constitutional Court shall decide on a prosecution by the National Council of the Slovak Republic against the President of the Slovak Republic in matters of wilful infringement of the Constitution or treason.
(6) The Constitutional Court shall decide on whether a decision on declaring an exceptional state or an emergency state and other decisions connected to this decision were issued in conformity with the Constitution and constitutional law.
(7) The decisions of the Constitutional Court according to the preceding paragraphs shall be binding for all bodies of public authority, natural persons or legal persons whom they concern. The respective body of public authority shall be obliged, without undue delay, to ensure their enforcement. Details shall be laid down by law. (Art. 129) - Slovak
(1) Ústavný súd rozhoduje o sťažnosti proti rozhodnutiu o overení alebo neoverení mandátu poslanca Národnej rady Slovenskej republiky.
(2) Ústavný súd rozhoduje o ústavnosti a zákonnosti volieb prezidenta Slovenskej republiky, volieb do Národnej rady Slovenskej republiky a volieb do Európskeho parlamentu.

(4) Ústavný súd rozhoduje o tom, či rozhodnutie o rozpustení alebo pozastavení činnosti politickej strany alebo politického hnutia je v zhode s ústavnými zákonmi a s inými zákonmi.
(5) Ústavný súd rozhoduje o obžalobe Národnej rady Slovenskej republiky proti prezidentovi Slovenskej republiky vo veci úmyselného porušenia ústavy alebo vlastizrady.
(6) Ústavný súd rozhoduje o tom, či rozhodnutie o vyhlásení výnimočného stavu alebo núdzového stavu a na toto rozhodnutie nadväzujúce ďalšie rozhodnutia boli vydané v súlade s ústavou alebo s ústavným zákonom.
(7) Rozhodnutia ústavného súdu podľa predchádzajúcich odsekov sú záväzné pre všetky orgány verejnej moci, fyzické osoby alebo právnické osoby, ktorých sa týkajú. Príslušný orgán verejnej moci je povinný bez zbytočného odkladu zabezpečiť ich vykonanie. Podrobnosti ustanoví zákon. (Čl. 129)

(2)(a) The Supreme Court of Appeal, the High Court of South Africa or a court of similar status may make an order concerning the constitutional validity of an Act of Parliament, a provincial Act or any conduct of the President, but an order of constitutional invalidity has no force unless it is confirmed by the Constitutional Court.
(b) A court which makes an order of constitutional invalidity may grant a temporary interdict or other temporary relief to a party, or may adjourn the proceedings, pending a decision of the Constitutional Court on the validity of that Act or conduct.
(c) National legislation must provide for the referral of an order of constitutional invalidity to the Constitutional Court.
(d) Any person or organ of state with a sufficient interest may appeal, or apply, directly to the Constitutional Court to confirm or vary an order of constitutional invalidity by a court in terms of this subsection.

Subject to the provisions of sections 25(2), 47(8)(b), 56(4), 65(5), 123(7)(b) and 124 of this Constitution, any person who alleges that any provision of this Constitution (other than a provision of Chapter II3) has been or is being contravened may, if he has a relevant interest, apply to the High Court for a declaration and for relief under this section.
2. The High Court shall have jurisdiction on an application made under this section to determine whether any provision of this Constitution (other than a provision of Chapter II) has been or is being contravened and to make a declaration accordingly.
3. Where the High Court makes a declaration under this section that a provision of this Constitution has been or is being contravened and the person on whose application the declaration is made has also applied for relief, the High Court may grant to that person such remedy as it considers appropriate, being a remedy available generally under any law in proceedings in the High Court.
4. The Chief Justice may make provision, or authorise the making of provision, with respect to the practice and procedure of the High Court in relation to the jurisdiction and powers conferred on the court by or under this section, including provision with respect to the time within which any application under this section may be made.
5. A person shall be regarded as having a relevant interest for the purpose of an application under this section only if the contravention of this Constitution alleged by him is such as to affect his interests.
6. The rights conferred on a person by this section to apply for a declaration and relief in respect of an alleged contravention of this Constitution shall be in addition to any other action in respect of the same matter that may be available to that person under any other law or any rule of law.
7. Nothing in this section shall confer jurisdiction on the High Court to hear or determine any such question as is referred to in section 44 of this Constitution. (Sec. 119)

(1) Subject to the provisions of section 31(3) and 98(1) of, and paragraph 10 of Schedule 2 to, this Constitution, if any person alleges that any provision of this Constitution (other than Chapter II) has been contravened and that his interests are being or are likely to be affected by such contravention, then, without prejudice to any other action with respect to the same matter which is lawfully available, that person may apply to the High Court for a declaration and for relief under this section.
(2) The High Court shall have jurisdiction, in any application made by any person in pursuance of the preceding subsection or in any other proceedings lawfully brought before the Court, to determine whether any provision of this Constitution (other than Chapter II) has been contravened and to make a declaration accordingly:
Provided that the High Court shall not make a declaration in pursuance of the jurisdiction conferred by this subsection unless it is satisfied that the interests of the person by whom the application under the preceding subsection is made or, in the case of other proceedings before the Court, a party to those proceedings, are being or are likely to be affected.
(3) Where the High Court makes a declaration in pursuance of the preceding subsection that any provision of the Constitution has been contravened and the person by whom the application under subsection (1) of this section was made or, in the case of other proceedings before the Court, the party in those proceedings in respect of whom the declaration is made, seeks relief, the High Court may grant to that person such remedy, being a remedy available against any person in any proceedings in the High Court under any law for the time being in force in Solomon Islands, as the Court considers appropriate.
(4) Nothing in this section shall confer jurisdiction on the High Court to hear or determine any such question as is referred to in Section 52 of this Constitution otherwise than upon an application made in accordance with the provisions of that section. (Sec. 83)
