- EnglishThe authorities of the State shall respect and ensure human rights as they are expressed in this Constitution and in the treaties concerning human rights that are binding for Norway. (Art. 92)

- EnglishI. The international treaties and instruments in matters of human rights that have been signed and/or ratified, or those that have been joined by the State, which declare rights more favorable than those contained in the Constitution, shall have preferential application over those in this Constitution.
II. The rights recognized in the Constitution shall be interpreted in agreement with international human rights treaties when the latter provide more favorable norms. (Art. 256) - SpanishI. Los tratados e instrumentos internacionales en materia de derechos humanos que hayan sido firmados, ratificados o a los que se hubiera adherido el Estado, que declaren derechos más favorables a los contenidos en la Constitución, se aplicarán de manera preferente sobre ésta.
II. Los derechos reconocidos en la Constitución serán interpretados de acuerdo a los tratados internacionales de derechos humanos cuando éstos prevean normas más favorables. (Art. 256)

- EnglishThe State and all other public entities are civilly responsible, in solidarity with the heads of their bodies, employees or agents, for actions or omission that took place while on duty, and because of its obligations, that may result in a violation of rights, liberties or guarantees, or loss to a third party. - English(1) Constitutional provisions concerning the citizens' rights and liberties shall be interpreted and enforced in conformity with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, with the covenants and other treaties Romania is a party to.
(2) Where any inconsistencies exist between the covenants and treaties on the fundamental human rights Romania is a party of, and the national laws, the international regulations shall take precedence, unless the Constitution or national laws comprise more favourable provisions. (Art. 20) - Romanian(1) Dispoziţiile constituţionale privind drepturile şi libertăţile cetăţenilor vor fi interpretate şi aplicate în concordanţă cu Declaraţia Universală a Drepturilor Omului, cu pactele şi cu celelalte tratate la care România este parte.
(2) Dacă există neconcordanţe între pactele şi tratatele privitoare la drepturile fundamentale ale omului, la care România este parte, şi legile interne, au prioritate reglementările internaţionale, cu excepţia cazului în care Constituţia sau legile interne conţin dispoziţii mai favorabile. - EnglishInternational treaties and agreements ratified by the Congress that recognize human rights and that prohibit their limitation in the states of emergency, have prevalence in the internal order. The rights and duties consecrated in this Charter will be interpreted in conformity with international treaties on human rights ratified by Colombia.

- EnglishHuman and minority rights guaranteed by the Constitution shall be implemented directly.
The Constitution shall guarantee, and as such, directly implement human and minority rights guaranteed by the generally accepted rules of international law, ratified international treaties and laws. The law may prescribe manner of exercising these rights only if explicitly stipulated in the Constitution or necessary to exercise a specific right owing to its nature, whereby the law may not under any circumstances influence the substance of the relevant guaranteed right.
Provisions on human and minority rights shall be interpreted to the benefit of promoting values of a democratic society, pursuant to valid international standards in human and minority rights, as well as the practice of international institutions which supervise their implementation. (Art. 18) - Serbian CyrillicЉудска и мањинска права зајемчена Уставом непосредно се примењују.
Уставом се јемче, и као таква, непосредно се примењују људска и мањинска права зајемчена општеприхваћеним правилима међународног права, потврђеним међународним уговорима и законима. Законом се може прописати начин остваривања ових права само ако је то Уставом изричито предвиђено или ако је то неопходно за остварење појединог права због његове природе, при чему закон ни у ком случају не сме да утиче на суштину зајемченог права.
Одредбе о људским и мањинским правима тумаче се у корист унапређења вредности демократског друштва, сагласно важећим међународним стандaрдима људских и мањинских права, као и пракси међународних институција којe надзиру њихово спровођење. (Члан 18)
