a. is a citizen of the Republic;
b. has attained the age of thirty-five years;
c. has not been, on or after the date of the coming into operation of this constitution, convicted of an offence involving dishonesty or moral turpitude or is not under any disqualification imposed by a competent court for any electoral offence;

a. Cumhuriyet vatandaşı olmak;

c. bu Anayasanın yürürlüğe girdiği tarihte veya ondan sonra, yüz kızartıcı veya ahlaka aykırı bir suçtan hüküm giymemiş veya herhangi bir seçim suçundan dolayı yetkili bir mahkemece ehliyetsiz kılınmamış olmak;
d. Cumhurbaşkanı veya Cumhurbaşkanı Yardımcısı olarak görev görmesine engel bir akıl hastalığı bulunmamak. (Madde 40)

- English(1) A person shall not be entitled to be elected to hold the office of President of the United Republic save only if -
(a) he is a citizen of the United Republic by birth in accordance with the citizenship law;
(b) he has attained the age of forty years;
(c) he is a member of, and a candidate nominated by, a political party;
(d) he is qualified to be a Member of Parliament or a Member of the House of Representatives; and
(e) within the period of five years before the General Elections, he has not been convicted by any court for any offence relating to evasion to pay any tax due to the Government.
(2) Without prejudice to any person’s right and freedom of expression to hold his own views, to profess a religious faith of his choice, to associate with others and to participate with others in community work in accordance with the laws of the land, no person shall be qualified to be elected to hold the office of President of the United Republic unless he is a member of, and a candidate proposed by, a political party. (1) The Head of the Slovak Republic shall be the President. The President shall represent the Slovak Republic externally and internally, shall ensure the regular operation of Constitutional bodies by his or her decisions. The President shall perform the office according to his or her conscience and convictions, and shall not be bound by orders.
(2) Citizens of the Slovak Republic shall elect the President by secret ballot for a five-year term in direct elections. Citizens who have the right to vote for the National Council of the Slovak Republic shall have the right to vote for a President.
(3) Candidates for President shall be proposed by at least 15 Members of Parliament or by citizens who have the right to vote for the National Council of the Slovak Republic on the basis of a petition signed by at least 15,000 citizens. Proposals for elections shall be delivered to the President of the National Council of the Slovak Republic at the latest within 21 days of the announcement of elections.

(1) Hlavou Slovenskej republiky je prezident. Prezident reprezentuje Slovenskú republiku navonok i dovnútra a svojím rozhodovaním zabezpečuje riadny chod ústavných orgánov. Prezident vykonáva svoj úrad podľa svojho svedomia a presvedčenia a nie je viazaný príkazmi.
(2) Prezidenta volia občania Slovenskej republiky v priamych voľbách tajným hlasovaním na päť rokov. Právo voliť prezidenta majú občania, ktorí majú právo voliť do Národnej rady Slovenskej republiky.
(3) Kandidátov na prezidenta navrhuje najmenej 15 poslancov Národnej rady Slovenskej republiky alebo občania, ktorí majú právo voliť do Národnej rady Slovenskej republiky, a to na základe petície podpísanej najmenej 15 000 občanmi. Návrhy na voľbu sa odovzdávajú predsedovi Národnej rady Slovenskej republiky najneskôr do 21 dní od vyhlásenia volieb.

The other procedures and principles concerning the presidential elections shall be regulated by law. Ayrıca, en son yapılan milletvekili genel seçimlerinde geçerli oylar toplamı birlikte hesaplandığında yüzde onu geçen siyasî partiler ortak aday gösterebilir. ...
Genel oyla yapılacak seçimde, geçerli oyların salt çoğunluğunu alan aday, Cumhurbaşkanı seçilir. İlk oylamada bu çoğunluk sağlanamazsa, bu oylamayı izleyen ikinci pazar günü ikinci oylama yapılır. Bu oylamaya, ilk oylamada en çok oy almış iki aday katılır ve geçerli oyların çoğunluğunu alan aday, Cumhurbaşkanı seçilir.
Cumhurbaşkanı seçilenin, varsa partisi ile ilişiği kesilir ve Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi üyeliği sona erer. ...
Cumhurbaşkanlığı seçimlerine ilişkin diğer usul ve esaslar kanunla düzenlenir. (Madde 101)
