- EnglishThat the Succession to the Monarchy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and of the Dominions thereto belonging after Her most Sacred Majesty and in default of Issue of Her Majesty be remain and continue to the most Excellent Princess Sophia Electoress and Dutchess Dowager of Hanover and the Heirs of her body being Protestants upon whom the Crown of England is settled by an Act of Parliament made in England in the Twelfth year of the reign of His late Majesty King William the Third intituled an Act for the further Limitation of the Crown and better securing the rights and Liberites of the Subject And that all Papists and persons marrying Papists shall be excluded from and for ever incapable to inherit possess or enjoy the Imperial Crown of Great Britain and the Dominions thereunto belonging or any part thereof and in every such Case the Crown and Government shall from time to time descend to and be enjoyed by such person being a Protestant as should have inherited and enjoyed the same in case such Papist or person marrying a Papist was naturally dead according to the Provision for the descent of the Crown of England made by another Act of Parliament in England in the first year of the reign of Their late Majesties King William and Queen Mary intituled an Act declaring the Rights and Liberites of the Subject and settling the Succession of the Crown. - EnglishFirst: The Council of Representatives shall elect a President of the Republic from among the candidates by a two-thirds majority of the number of its members.
Second: If none of the candidates receive the required majority vote then the two candidates who received the highest number of votes shall compete and the one who receives the majority of votes in the second election shall be declared President. - English1. A person qualifies to be nominated as a candidate for election as President if that person—
a. is a citizen by birth or descent;
b. has been ordinarily resident in Zambia;
c. is at least thirty-five years old;
d. is a registered voter;
e. has obtained, as a minimum academic qualification, a grade twelve certificate or its equivalent;
f. is fluent in the official language;
g. has paid that person’s taxes or has made arrangements, satisfactory to the appropriate tax authority, for the payment of the taxes;
h. declares that person’s assets and liabilities, as prescribed;
i. pays the prescribed election fee on, or before, the date fixed for the delivery of nomination papers; and
j. is supported by at least one hundred registered voters from each Province.

The ruling system is Sultani (Royal), hereditary through the male descendants of Sultan Turki bin Said bin Sultan, in accordance with the following provisions:
– Title to the throne passes from the Sultan to His eldest son, followed by the eldest son of this son, and by a similar process afterwards. If the eldest son dies before the title to the throne passes to him, the title to the throne passes to his eldest son, regardless of the deceased having brothers.
– If he who has title to the throne has no sons, the title to the throne passes to his eldest brother. If he has no brothers, it passes to the eldest son of his eldest brother. If his eldest brother has no sons, it passes to the eldest son of his other brothers, in accordance with their seniority in age.
– If he who has title to the throne has no brothers and no sons of brothers, the title to the throne passes to the paternal uncles and their sons in the order prescribed in the second clause of this article.
Whoever assumes the title to the throne must be Muslim, rational, and a legitimate son of Muslim Omani parents. (Art. 5) - Arabic
نظام الحكم سلطاني وراثي في الذكور من ذرية السلطان تركي بن سعيد بن سلطان، وذلك وفقا للأحكام الآتية:
– تنتقل ولاية الحكم من السلطان إلى أكبر أبنائه سنا، ثم أكبر أبناء هذا الابن، وهكذا طبقة بعد طبقة، فإذا توفي الابن الأكبر قبل أن تنتقل إليه ولاية الحكم انتقلت إلى أكبر أبنائه، ولو كان للمتوفى إخوة.
– إذا لم يكن لمن له ولاية الحكم أبناء فتنتقل الولاية إلى أكبر إخوته، فإذا لم يكن له إخوة تنتقل إلى أكبر أبناء أكبر إخوته، وإذا لم يكن لأكبر إخوته ابن فإلى أكبر أبناء إخوته الآخرين، بحسب ترتيب سن الأخوة.
– إذا لم يكن لمن له ولاية الحكم إخوة أو أبناء إخوة تنتقل ولاية الحكم إلى الأعمام وأبنائهم على الترتيب المعين في البند (الثاني) من هذه المادة.
ويشترط فيمن يتولى الحكم أن يكون مسلما، عاقلا، وابنا شرعيا لأبوين عمانيين مسلمين. (المادّة 5)

- English(1) A person shall be qualified for election as President if, and shall not be qualified unless, he or she-
(a) is a citizen of Botswana by birth or descent;
(b) has attained the age of 30 years; and
(c) is qualified to be elected as a Member of the National Assembly.
(2) Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, for the purposes of this section and section 39-
(a) the term "citizen by birth" shall be understood to include only those persons who became citizens of Botswana prior to the amendment of the law relating to citizenship by the Citizenship Act;
(b) any person who, although his or her father was a citizen of Botswana at the time of that person's birth, had, by virtue of his or her having been born outside Botswana, to be registered as a citizen of Botswana, under the law relating to citizenship in force at that time, shall be regarded as a citizen by descent. - EnglishA Prince or Princess entitled to succeed to the Crown of Norway may not marry without the consent of the King. Nor may he or she accept any other crown or government without the consent of the King and the Storting. For the consent of the Storting two thirds of the votes are required.
If he or she acts contrary to this rule, they and their descendants forfeit their right to the throne of Norway. (Art. 36) - NorwegianEn til Norges krone arveberettiget prins eller prinsesse må ikke gifte seg uten kongens tillatelse. Heller ikke må han eller hun motta noen annen krone eller regjering uten kongens og Stortingets samtykke. Til Stortingets samtykke fordres to tredjedeler av stemmene.
Handler han eller hun i strid med dette, taper vedkommende så vel som etterkommerne retten til Norges trone. (§ 36)
