(a) Being a Somali citizen and a Muslim;
(b) Being not less than forty years of age;
(c) Having relevant knowledge or experience for the role;
(d) Having a sound mind; and

- English1. The President of the Russian Federation shall be elected for six years by citizens of the Russian Federation on the basis of universal, equal, direct suffrage by secret ballot.
2. Any citizen of the Russian Federation not younger than 35 years of age who has resided in the Russian Federation on a permanent basis for not less than 25 years, who does not have and never had foreign citizenship, residence permit or another document certifying the right of the citizen of the Russian Federation to have residence in the territory of a foreign state may be elected President of the Russian Federation. The requirement for the candidate for election as the President of the Russian Federation to have no and have had no citizenship of a foreign state shall not apply to citizens of the Russian Federation who previously had had a citizenship of a foreign state that was fully or partially accepted into the Russian Federation in accordance with the federal constitutional law and have had permanently lived in the foreign state accepted into the Russian Federation or in the territory of the part of foreign state accepted into the Russian Federation. The President of the Russian Federation in order established by the federal law shall be forbidden from opening and having bank accounts (deposits), keeping cash assets and valuables in foreign banks situated outside the territory of the Russian Federation.

2. Президентом Российской Федерации может быть избран гражданин Российской Федерации не моложе 35 лет, постоянно проживающий в Российской Федерации не менее 25 лет, не имеющий и не имевший ранее гражданства иностранного государства либо вида на жительство или иного документа, подтверждающего право на постоянное проживание гражданина Российской Федерации на территории иностранного государства. Требование к кандидату на должность Президента Российской Федерации об отсутствии у него гражданства иностранного государства не распространяется на граждан Российской Федерации, ранее имевших гражданство государства, которое было принято или часть которого была принята в Российскую Федерацию в соответствии с федеральным конституционным законом, и постоянно проживавших на территории принятого в Российскую Федерацию государства или территории принятой в Российскую Федерацию части государства. (a) is a citizen of Botswana by birth or descent;
(b) has attained the age of 30 years; and
(c) is qualified to be elected as a Member of the National Assembly.
(2) Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, for the purposes of this section and section 39-
(a) the term "citizen by birth" shall be understood to include only those persons who became citizens of Botswana prior to the amendment of the law relating to citizenship by the Citizenship Act;
(b) any person who, although his or her father was a citizen of Botswana at the time of that person's birth, had, by virtue of his or her having been born outside Botswana, to be registered as a citizen of Botswana, under the law relating to citizenship in force at that time, shall be regarded as a citizen by descent. The President of the Republic shall be elected by Parliament in joint session of its members.
Three delegates from each Region, as shall have been elected by their respective Regional Councils so as to ensure the representation of the opposition, shall participate in the election. Valle d’Aosta shall have one delegate.
The President of the Republic shall be elected by secret ballot by a majority of two thirds of the assembly. After the third ballot an absolute majority shall suffice. (Art. 83) - Italian
Il Presidente della Repubblica è eletto dal Parlamento in seduta comune dei suoi membri.
All’elezione partecipano tre delegati per ogni Regione eletti dal Consiglio regionale in modo che sia assicurata la rappresentanza delle minoranze. La Valle d’Aosta ha un solo delegato.
L’elezione del Presidente della Repubblica ha luogo per scrutinio segreto a maggioranza di due terzi dell’assemblea. Dopo il terzo scrutinio è sufficiente la maggioranza assoluta. (Art. 83)
