- EnglishThe federal authorities shall strive to issue the laws referred to in this Constitution as quickly as possible so as to replace the existing legislations and systems, particularly those which are not consistent with the provisions of the Constitution. (Art. 150)

(3) If the Constitutional Court holds by its decision that there is inconformity between legal regulations stated in paragraph 1, the respective regulations, their parts or some of their provisions shall lose effect. The bodies that issued these legal regulations shall be obliged to harmonize them with the Constitution, with constitutional laws and with international treaties promulgated in the manner laid down by a law, and if it regards regulations stated in paragraph 1 letters b) and c) also with other laws, if it regards regulations stated in paragraph 1 letter d) also with government regulations and with generally binding legal regulations of Ministries and other central state administration bodies within six month from the promulgation of the decision of the Constitutional Court. If they fail to do so, these regulations, their parts or their provisions shall lose effect after six months from the promulgation of the decision.

(3) Ak ústavný súd svojím rozhodnutím vysloví, že medzi právnymi predpismi uvedenými v odseku 1 je nesúlad, strácajú príslušné predpisy, ich časti, prípadne niektoré ich ustanovenia účinnosť. Orgány, ktoré tieto právne predpisy vydali, sú povinné do šiestich mesiacov od vyhlásenia rozhodnutia ústavného súdu uviesť ich do súladu s ústavou, s ústavnými zákonmi a s medzinárodnými zmluvami vyhlásenými spôsobom ustanoveným zákonom, a ak ide o predpisy uvedené v odseku 1 písm. b) a c), aj s inými zákonmi, a ak ide o predpisy uvedené v odseku 1 písm. d), aj s nariadeniami vlády a so všeobecne záväznými právnymi predpismi ministerstiev a ostatných ústredných orgánov štátnej správy. (6) If a law is rescinded as unconstitutional by a ruling of the Constitutional Court, the legal provisions rescinded by the law which the Constitutional Court has pronounced unconstitutional enter into force again unless the judgement pronounces otherwise, on the day of entry into force of the rescission. The publication on the rescission of the law shall also announce whether and which legal provisions again enter into force.
(7) If a law has been rescinded on the score of unconstitutionality or if the Constitutional Court has pursuant to para 4 above pronounced a law to be unconstitutional, all courts and administrative authorities are bound by the Constitutional Court’s decision. The law shall however continue to apply to the circumstances effected before the rescission the case in point excepted, unless the Constitutional Court in its rescissory ruling decides otherwise.

(6) Wird durch ein Erkenntnis des Verfassungsgerichtshofes ein Gesetz als verfassungswidrig aufgehoben, so treten mit dem Tag des Inkrafttretens der Aufhebung, falls das Erkenntnis nicht anderes ausspricht, die gesetzlichen Bestimmungen wieder in Kraft, die durch das vom Verfassungsgerichtshof als verfassungswidrig erkannte Gesetz aufgehoben worden waren. In der Kundmachung über die Aufhebung des Gesetzes ist auch zu verlautbaren, ob und welche gesetzlichen Bestimmungen wieder in Kraft treten.
