- EnglishMother and father shall have the obligation to take care of their children, to bring them up and to educate them in order to become good citizens.

- English(1) The State recognises that the family is the natural and fundamental element of society and the right of everyone to form a family and undertakes to promote the legal, economic and social protection of the family.
(2) The right contained in clause (1) may be subject to such restrictions as may be prescribed by law and necessary in a democratic society including the prevention of marriage between persons of the same sex or persons within certain family degrees. (Art. 32)
