Ecuador
- EnglishAll female and male Ecuadorians are citizens and shall enjoy the rights set forth in the Constitution.
Ecuadorian nationality is a political and legal bond between individuals and the State, without detriment to their belonging to any of the other indigenous nations that coexist in plurinational Ecuador.
Ecuadorian nationality is obtained by birth or naturalization and shall not be forfeited because of marriage or its dissolution or by acquiring another nationality. (Art. 6) - SpanishTodas las ecuatorianas y los ecuatorianos son ciudadanos y gozarán de los derechos establecidos en la Constitución.
La nacionalidad ecuatoriana es el vínculo jurídico político de las personas con el Estado, sin perjuicio de su pertenencia a alguna de las nacionalidades indígenas que coexisten en el Ecuador plurinacional.

Honduras

A Special Law denominated the Law on Nationality will regulate that relative to the exercise of the political rights and in all that is considered pertinent in this matter. El Salvador
- English[The following] may obtain the Salvadoran status [calidad] by naturalization:
1) The Spaniards and Hispano-Americans of origin that have one year of residence in the country;
2) The foreigners of any origin that have five years of residence in the country;
3) Those who obtain this quality from the Legislative Organ for noteworthy services rendered for the Republic;
4) A foreigner [masculine] married to a Salvadoran [feminine] or a foreigner [feminine] married to a Salvadoran [masculine] that can accredit two years of residence in the country, prior to or after the celebration of the matrimony.
The nationality by naturalization will be granted by competent authorities in accordance with the law. (Art. 92) - SpanishPueden adquirir la calidad de salvadoreños por naturalización:
1º- Los españoles e hispanoamericanos de origen que tuvieren un año de residencia en el país;
2º- Los extranjeros de cualquier origen que tuvieren cinco años de residencia en el país;

4º- El extranjero casado con salvadoreña o la extranjera casada con salvadoreño que acreditaren dos años de residencia en el país, anteriores o posteriores a la celebración del matrimonio.

Uruguay
- EnglishNationality is not lost even by naturalization in another country, it being sufficient for the purpose of retaining the rights of citizenship merely to take up residence in the Republic and register in the Civil Register.
Legal citizenship is lost by any other form of subsequent naturalization. No native Guatemalan can be deprived of his [or her] nationality. Venezuela, Bolivarian Republic of
- EnglishAre Venezuelans by birth:
1. Any person who was born within the territory of the Republic.
2. Any person who was born in a foreign territory, and is the child of a father and mother who are both Venezuelans by birth.
3. Any person who was born in a foreign territory, and is the child of a father or a mother, who is Venezuelan by birth, provided they have established residence within the territory of the Republic or declared their intention to obtain the Venezuelan nationality.
4. Any person who was born in a foreign territory, and is the child of a father or a mother who is Venezuelan by naturalization, provided that prior to reaching the age of 18, they establish their residence within the territory of the Republic, and before reaching the age of 25 declare their intention to obtain the Venezuelan nationality. (Art. 32) - SpanishSon venezolanos y venezolanas por nacimiento:
1. Toda persona nacida en territorio de la República.
2. Toda persona nacida en territorio extranjero, hijo o hija de padre venezolano por nacimiento y madre venezolana por nacimiento.
3. Toda persona nacida en territorio extranjero, hijo o hija de padre venezolano por nacimiento o madre venezolana por nacimiento, siempre que establezcan su residencia en el territorio de la República o declaren su voluntad de acogerse a la nacionalidad venezolana.

Toda persona nacida en territorio extranjero de padre venezolano por naturalización o madre venezolana por naturalización, siempre que antes de cumplir dieciocho años de edad, establezca su residencia en el territorio de la República y antes de cumplir veinticinco años de edad declare su voluntad de acogerse a la nacionalidad venezolana. Panama
- EnglishPanamanian nationality by origin or acquired by birth can not be lost, but express or implied renunciation of it, suspends citizenship.
Panamanian nationality derived from or acquired by naturalization shall be lost for the same reasons. There is express renunciation when the person states in writing to the Executive Authority that he/she desires to abandon Panamanian citizenship; and implied renunciation when the person acquires the citizenship of a foreign state, or enters the service of an enemy State. (Art. 13) - SpanishLa nacionalidad panameña de origen o adquirida por el nacimiento no se pierde, pero la renuncia expresa o tácita de ella suspenderá la ciudadanía.
La nacionalidad panameña derivada o adquirida por la naturalización se perderá por las mismas causas.
La renuncia expresa de la nacionalidad se produce cuando la persona manifiesta por escrito al Ejecutivo su voluntad de abandonarla; y la tácita, cuando se adquiere otra nacionalidad o cuando se entra al servicio de un Estado enemigo. (Art. 13)
