- EnglishBecause of the best interests of children and adolescents and their right to the identity, presumed parentage shall be validated by indication of the mother or father. This presumption shall be valid in the absence of proof of the contrary, with the burden of proof on the person who denies parentage. - English1. The family is the basic nucleus of social organisation and shall be the object of special protection by the state, whether based on marriage or on a de facto union between a man and a woman.
2. Everyone shall have the right to freely found a family under the terms of the Constitution and the law.
3. Men and women shall be equal within the family, in society and before the state, enjoying the same rights and being responsible for the same duties.
