- EnglishWhen conflicts arise between normative-legal acts which form part of the legal system of the Republic of Azerbaijan (with the exception of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the acts passed by way of referendum) and international treaties to which the Republic of Azerbaijan is a party, the international treaties shall apply. - EnglishA statute of the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands continues in effect except to the extent it is inconsistent with this Constitution, or is amended or repealed. A writ, action, suit, proceeding, civil or criminal liability, prosecution, judgment, sentence, order, decree, appeal, cause of action, defense, contract, claim, demand, title, or right continues unaffected except as modified in accordance with the provisions of this Constitution. - English(1) The Government shall be regulated in accordance with the provisions of this Constitution, and the form of the Government shall not be altered save in pursuance of the power conferred by Article 85.
(2) Nothing in this Constitution shall be deemed to derogate from the prerogative powers and jurisdiction of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan and, for the avoidance of doubt, it is declared that His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan retains the power to make laws and to proclaim a further Part or Parts of the law of this Constitution as to His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan from time to time may seem expedient. (Sec. 84) - Malay(1) Kerajaan hendaklah diatur perjalanannya menurut peruntukan-peruntukan Perlembagaan ini, dan bentuk Kerajaan itu tidak boleh diubah kecuali menurut kuasa yang diberikan oleh Perkara 85.
(2) Tiada sebarang apa pun dalam Perlembagaan ini boleh dianggap mengurangkan hak dan kuasa kedaulatan Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan dan, bagi mengelakkan kewahaman, maka adalah diisytiharkan bahawa Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan berkuasa untuk membuat undang-undang dan memasyhurkan lagi satu Bahagian atau Bahagian-Bahagian Perlembagaan ini dari masa ke semasa jika difikirkan oleh Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan elok diperbuat demikian.
