- English(1) Every person has the right to full and free participation in the economic life of the State, which includes the right to choose their own work, trade, occupation, profession or other means of livelihood.
(2) The State must take reasonable measures within its available resources to achieve the progressive realisation of the rights recognised in subsection (1).
(3) To the extent that it is necessary, a law may limit, or may authorise the limitation of, the rights set out in subsection (1). No citizen can be compelled to do any work except within the law, and in which case it is to serve the common interest and be in return for a fair wage. The law shall regulate union activities and professional work, and the relationship between workers and employers. (Art. 29)

The worker has the right to an equitable and sufficient remuneration, that procures, for him and his family, material and spiritual well-being.
Payment of the remuneration and of the social benefits of the worker takes priority over any other obligation of the employer.
Minimum remunerations are regulated by the State with participation of the representative organizations of the workers and of the employers. (Art. 24) - Spanish
El trabajador tiene derecho a una remuneración equitativa y suficiente, que procure, para él y su familia, el bienestar material y espiritual.
El pago de la remuneración y de los beneficios sociales del trabajador tiene prioridad sobre cualquiera otra obligación del empleador.
