The ruling system is Sultani (Royal), hereditary through the male descendants of Sultan Turki bin Said bin Sultan, in accordance with the following provisions:
– Title to the throne passes from the Sultan to His eldest son, followed by the eldest son of this son, and by a similar process afterwards. If the eldest son dies before the title to the throne passes to him, the title to the throne passes to his eldest son, regardless of the deceased having brothers.
– If he who has title to the throne has no sons, the title to the throne passes to his eldest brother. If he has no brothers, it passes to the eldest son of his eldest brother. If his eldest brother has no sons, it passes to the eldest son of his other brothers, in accordance with their seniority in age.
– If he who has title to the throne has no brothers and no sons of brothers, the title to the throne passes to the paternal uncles and their sons in the order prescribed in the second clause of this article.
Whoever assumes the title to the throne must be Muslim, rational, and a legitimate son of Muslim Omani parents. (Art. 5) - Arabic
نظام الحكم سلطاني وراثي في الذكور من ذرية السلطان تركي بن سعيد بن سلطان، وذلك وفقا للأحكام الآتية:
– تنتقل ولاية الحكم من السلطان إلى أكبر أبنائه سنا، ثم أكبر أبناء هذا الابن، وهكذا طبقة بعد طبقة، فإذا توفي الابن الأكبر قبل أن تنتقل إليه ولاية الحكم انتقلت إلى أكبر أبنائه، ولو كان للمتوفى إخوة.
– إذا لم يكن لمن له ولاية الحكم أبناء فتنتقل الولاية إلى أكبر إخوته، فإذا لم يكن له إخوة تنتقل إلى أكبر أبناء أكبر إخوته، وإذا لم يكن لأكبر إخوته ابن فإلى أكبر أبناء إخوته الآخرين، بحسب ترتيب سن الأخوة.
– إذا لم يكن لمن له ولاية الحكم إخوة أو أبناء إخوة تنتقل ولاية الحكم إلى الأعمام وأبنائهم على الترتيب المعين في البند (الثاني) من هذه المادة.
ويشترط فيمن يتولى الحكم أن يكون مسلما، عاقلا، وابنا شرعيا لأبوين عمانيين مسلمين. (المادّة 5)

- EnglishThe Throne of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is hereditary to the dynasty of King Abdullah Bin Al-Hussein in a direct line through the male heirs pursuant to the following provisions:
a. The Royal title shall pass from the holder of the Throne to his eldest son, then to the eldest son of that eldest son, and in linear succession in a similar process thereafter. Should the eldest son die before the Throne devolves upon him, his eldest son shall inherit the Throne, even if the deceased has brothers. The King may, however, select one of his brothers as heir apparent. In this event, the title to the Throne shall pass to him from the holder of the Throne.
b. If the person entitled to the Throne does not have a male heir, it shall pass to his eldest brother. If he has no brothers, to the eldest son of his eldest brother. If his eldest brother has no son, to the eldest son of his other brothers according to the seniority in age of the brothers.
c. In the absence of brothers and nephews, the title to the Throne shall pass to the uncles and their descendants, in the order prescribed in Paragraph (b).
d. Should the last King die without an heir in the manner prescribed above, the Throne shall devolve upon the person selected by the Parliament from amongst the descendants of the founder of the Arab Renaissance, the late King Hussein Bin Ali.
e. It is a condition for the person who shall ascend the Throne to be a Muslim, mentally sound, born by a legitimate wife, and of Muslim parents.
… (Art. 28) - Arabicعرش المملكة الأردنيـة الهاشمية وراثي في أسرة الملك عبدالله بن الحسين ، وتكون وراثة العرش في الذكور من أولاد الظهور وفق الأحكام التالية:
أ. تنتقل ولاية الملك من صاحب العرش إلى اكبر أبنائه سنّاً ثم إلى أكبر أبناء ذلك الإبن الأكبر ، وهكذا طبقة بعد طبقة، وإذا توفي أكبر الأبناء قبل أن ينتقل إليه الملك كانت الولاية إلى أكبر أبنائه ولو كان للمتوفي إخوة، على أنه يجوز للملك أن يختار أحد إخوته الذكور ولياً للعهد وفي هذه الحالة تنتقل ولاية الملك من صاحب العرش إليه.
ب. إذا لم يكن لمن له ولاية الملك عقب تنتقل إلى أكبر إخوته وإذا لم يكن له إخوة فإلى أكبر أبناء أكبر إخوته فإن لم يكن لأكبر اخوته إبن فإلى أكبر أبناء إخوته الآخرين بحسب ترتيب سن الأخوة.
ج. في حالة فقدان الأخوة وأبناء الأخوة تنتقل ولاية الملك إلى الأعمام وذريتهم على الترتيب المعين في الفقرة (ب).
د. وإذا توفي آخر ملك بدون وارث على نحو ما ذكر يرجع الملك إلى من يختاره مجلس الأمة من سلالة مؤسس النهضة العربية المغفور له الملك حسين بن علي.
ه. يشترط فيمن يتولى الملك أن يكون مسلماً عاقلاً مولوداً من زوجة شرعية ومن أبوين مسلمين.

2. Only a citizen of São Toméan origin, the child of a São Toméan father or mother, more than 35 years of age, who does not possess any other nationality and who over the three years immediately prior to the date of candidacy has had permanent residence in the national territory, may be elected President of the Republic.

a. is a citizen by birth or descent;
b. has been ordinarily resident in Zambia;
c. is at least thirty-five years old;
d. is a registered voter;
e. has obtained, as a minimum academic qualification, a grade twelve certificate or its equivalent;
f. is fluent in the official language;
g. has paid that person’s taxes or has made arrangements, satisfactory to the appropriate tax authority, for the payment of the taxes;
h. declares that person’s assets and liabilities, as prescribed;
i. pays the prescribed election fee on, or before, the date fixed for the delivery of nomination papers; and
j. is supported by at least one hundred registered voters from each Province.

- EnglishThe President of the Republic shall be elected directly by the public from among Turkish citizens over forty years of age who are eligible to be a deputy and have completed higher education.
The President of the Republic’s term of office shall be five years. A person may be elected as President of the Republic for two terms at most.
The President of the Republic may be nominated by political party groups, political parties which received at least five percent of valid votes on their own or collectively in the latest parliamentary elections or at least one hundred thousand voters. ...
In presidential elections conducted by universal suffrage, the candidate who receives the absolute majority of the valid votes shall be elected President of the Republic. If absolute majority cannot be obtained in the first ballot, the second ballot shall be held on the second Sunday following this ballot. Two candidates who received the greatest number of votes in the first ballot run for the second ballot, and the candidate who receives majority of valid votes shall be elected President of the Republic. ...
The other procedures and principles concerning the presidential elections shall be regulated by law. Cumhurbaşkanının görev süresi beş yıldır. Bir kimse en fazla iki defa Cumhurbaşkanı seçilebilir.
Cumhurbaşkanlığına Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi üyeleri içinden veya Meclis dışından aday gösterilebilmesi yirmi milletvekilinin yazılı teklifi ile mümkündür. Ayrıca, en son yapılan milletvekili genel seçimlerinde geçerli oylar toplamı birlikte hesaplandığında yüzde onu geçen siyasî partiler ortak aday gösterebilir. ...
Genel oyla yapılacak seçimde, geçerli oyların salt çoğunluğunu alan aday, Cumhurbaşkanı seçilir. İlk oylamada bu çoğunluk sağlanamazsa, bu oylamayı izleyen ikinci pazar günü ikinci oylama yapılır. Bu oylamaya, ilk oylamada en çok oy almış iki aday katılır ve geçerli oyların çoğunluğunu alan aday, Cumhurbaşkanı seçilir.
Cumhurbaşkanı seçilenin, varsa partisi ile ilişiği kesilir ve Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi üyeliği sona erer. ...
