- EnglishAll Powers, Authorities, and Functions which under any Act of the Parliament of Great Britain, or of the Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, or of the Legislature of Upper Canada, Lower Canada, Canada, Nova Scotia, or New Brunswick, are at the Union vested in or exerciseable by the respective Governors or Lieutenant Governors of those Provinces, with the Advice, or with the Advice and Consent, of the respective Executive Councils thereof, or in conjunction with those Councils, or with any Number of Members thereof, or by those Governors or Lieutenant Governors individually, shall, as far as the same continue in existence and capable of being exercised after the Union in relation to the Government of Canada, be vested in and exerciseable by the Governor General, with the Advice or with the Advice and Consent of or in conjunction with the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada, or any Members thereof, or by the Governor General individually, as the Case requires, subject nevertheless (except with respect to such as exist under Acts of the Parliament of Great Britain or of the Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland) to be abolished or altered by the Parliament of Canada. - EnglishThe Throne of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is hereditary to the dynasty of King Abdullah Bin Al-Hussein in a direct line through the male heirs pursuant to the following provisions:
a. The Royal title shall pass from the holder of the Throne to his eldest son, then to the eldest son of that eldest son, and in linear succession in a similar process thereafter. Should the eldest son die before the Throne devolves upon him, his eldest son shall inherit the Throne, even if the deceased has brothers. The King may, however, select one of his brothers as heir apparent. In this event, the title to the Throne shall pass to him from the holder of the Throne.
b. If the person entitled to the Throne does not have a male heir, it shall pass to his eldest brother. If he has no brothers, to the eldest son of his eldest brother. If his eldest brother has no son, to the eldest son of his other brothers according to the seniority in age of the brothers.
c. In the absence of brothers and nephews, the title to the Throne shall pass to the uncles and their descendants, in the order prescribed in Paragraph (b).
d. Should the last King die without an heir in the manner prescribed above, the Throne shall devolve upon the person selected by the Parliament from amongst the descendants of the founder of the Arab Renaissance, the late King Hussein Bin Ali.
e. It is a condition for the person who shall ascend the Throne to be a Muslim, mentally sound, born by a legitimate wife, and of Muslim parents.

أ. تنتقل ولاية الملك من صاحب العرش إلى اكبر أبنائه سنّاً ثم إلى أكبر أبناء ذلك الإبن الأكبر ، وهكذا طبقة بعد طبقة، وإذا توفي أكبر الأبناء قبل أن ينتقل إليه الملك كانت الولاية إلى أكبر أبنائه ولو كان للمتوفي إخوة، على أنه يجوز للملك أن يختار أحد إخوته الذكور ولياً للعهد وفي هذه الحالة تنتقل ولاية الملك من صاحب العرش إليه.
ب. إذا لم يكن لمن له ولاية الملك عقب تنتقل إلى أكبر إخوته وإذا لم يكن له إخوة فإلى أكبر أبناء أكبر إخوته فإن لم يكن لأكبر اخوته إبن فإلى أكبر أبناء إخوته الآخرين بحسب ترتيب سن الأخوة.
ج. في حالة فقدان الأخوة وأبناء الأخوة تنتقل ولاية الملك إلى الأعمام وذريتهم على الترتيب المعين في الفقرة (ب).
د. وإذا توفي آخر ملك بدون وارث على نحو ما ذكر يرجع الملك إلى من يختاره مجلس الأمة من سلالة مؤسس النهضة العربية المغفور له الملك حسين بن علي.
ه. يشترط فيمن يتولى الملك أن يكون مسلماً عاقلاً مولوداً من زوجة شرعية ومن أبوين مسلمين.

j. is supported by at least one hundred registered voters from each Province.

(1) The Head of the Slovak Republic shall be the President. The President shall represent the Slovak Republic externally and internally, shall ensure the regular operation of Constitutional bodies by his or her decisions. The President shall perform the office according to his or her conscience and convictions, and shall not be bound by orders.
(2) Citizens of the Slovak Republic shall elect the President by secret ballot for a five-year term in direct elections. Citizens who have the right to vote for the National Council of the Slovak Republic shall have the right to vote for a President.
(3) Candidates for President shall be proposed by at least 15 Members of Parliament or by citizens who have the right to vote for the National Council of the Slovak Republic on the basis of a petition signed by at least 15,000 citizens. Proposals for elections shall be delivered to the President of the National Council of the Slovak Republic at the latest within 21 days of the announcement of elections.

(1) Hlavou Slovenskej republiky je prezident. Prezident reprezentuje Slovenskú republiku navonok i dovnútra a svojím rozhodovaním zabezpečuje riadny chod ústavných orgánov. Prezident vykonáva svoj úrad podľa svojho svedomia a presvedčenia a nie je viazaný príkazmi.
(2) Prezidenta volia občania Slovenskej republiky v priamych voľbách tajným hlasovaním na päť rokov. Právo voliť prezidenta majú občania, ktorí majú právo voliť do Národnej rady Slovenskej republiky.
(3) Kandidátov na prezidenta navrhuje najmenej 15 poslancov Národnej rady Slovenskej republiky alebo občania, ktorí majú právo voliť do Národnej rady Slovenskej republiky, a to na základe petície podpísanej najmenej 15 000 občanmi. Návrhy na voľbu sa odovzdávajú predsedovi Národnej rady Slovenskej republiky najneskôr do 21 dní od vyhlásenia volieb.
