(1) The Legislature may, by law, define, regulate, protect, safeguard, support, foster and promote the institution of marriage.
(2) Subject to any written law, the Government and any public authority may, in the exercise of their executive authority, protect, safeguard, support, foster and promote the institution of marriage.
(3) Nothing in Part 46 invalidates a law enacted before, on or after the date of commencement of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Amendment No. 3) Act 2022 by reason that the law —
(a) defines marriage as a union between a man and a woman; or
(b) is based on such a definition of marriage.
(4) Nothing in Part 4 invalidates an exercise of executive authority before, on or after the date of commencement of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Amendment No. 3) Act 2022 by reason that the exercise is based on a definition of marriage as a union between a man and a woman. The unborn shall be considered as born for all rights accorded within the limits established by law.
The practice of any form of interruption of life on the part of the mother or [by] a third party of the unborn, whose life must be respected from conception[,] is considered prohibited and illegal.
The provisions of this Article of this Constitution, may only be reformed by a majority of three-quarters of the members of the Plenum of the National Congress, its provisions will not lose force or cease to be fulfilled when it is supposedly arrogated or modified by another constitutional precept.

Al que está por nacer se le considerará nacido para todo lo que le favorezca dentro de los límites establecidos por la Ley.
Se considera prohibida e ilegal la práctica de cualquier forma de interrupción de la vida por parte de la madre o un tercero al que está por nacer, a quien debe respetársele la vida desde su concepción.
Lo dispuesto en este artículo de la presente Constitución, sólo podrán reformarse por una mayoría de tres cuartas partes de los miembros del Pleno del Congreso Nacional, sus disposiciones no perderán vigencia o dejarán de cumplirse cuando sea supuestamente derogado o modificado por otro precepto constitucional.
