Any citizen of the Russian Federation not younger than 21 years of age, who has a right to participate in elections, permanently resides in the Russian Federation, does not have foreign citizenship, residence permit or another document certifying the right of the citizen of the Russian Federation to have residence in the territory of a foreign state may be elected deputy of the State Duma. The deputies of the State Duma in order established by the federal law shall be forbidden from opening and having bank accounts (deposits), keeping cash assets and valuables in foreign banks situated outside the territory of the Russian Federation.

- EnglishSubject to the provisions of section 48, a person shall be qualified to be elected as a member of the House of Representatives if, and shall not be qualified to be so elected unless, he—
(a) is a citizen of Trinidad and Tobago of the age of eighteen years or upwards, and
(b) has resided in Trinidad and Tobago for a period of two years immediately before the date of his nomination for election or is domiciled and resident in Trinidad and Tobago at that date. (Sec. 47)

- EnglishA person having the following qualifications has the right to stand for an election of Members of the House of Representatives:
1. being of Thai nationality by birth;
2. being not less than twenty-five years of age up to the date of the election;
3. being a member of any and only one political party for a consecutive period of not less than ninety days up to the date of the election; however, in the case where the general election is conducted due to the dissolution of the House of Representatives, the period of ninety days shall be reduced to thirty days;
4. a candidate in an election on a constituency basis shall also have any one of the following qualifications:
a. having his or her name appear in the household register in the Changwat where he or she stands for election for a consecutive period of not less than five years up to the date of applying for candidacy;
b. being born in the Changwat where he or she stands for election;
c. having studied in an educational institution situated in the Changwat where he or she stands for election for a consecutive period of not less than five academic years;
d. having served in the official service or performed duties in a State agency, or having had his or her name appear in the household register in the Changwat where he or she stands for election, as the case may be, for a consecutive period of not less than five years. (๔) ผู้สมัครรับเลือกตั้งแบบแบ่งเขตเลือกตั้งจะต้องมีลักษณะอย่างใดอย่างหนึ่งดังต่อไปนี้ด้วย
(ก) มีชื่ออยู่ในทะเบียนบ้านในจังหวัดที่สมัครรับเลือกตั้งมาแล้วเป็นเวลาติดต่อกันไม่น้อยกว่าห้าปีนับถึงวันสมัครรับเลือกตั้ง
(ข) เป็นบุคคลซึ่งเกิดในจังหวัดที่สมัครรับเลือกตั้ง
(ค) เคยศึกษาในสถานศึกษาที่ตั้งอยู่ในจังหวัดที่สมัครรับเลือกตั้งเป็นเวลาติดต่อกันไม่น้อยกว่าห้าปีการศึกษา
(ง) เคยรับราชการหรือปฏิบัติหน้าที่ในหน่วยงานของรัฐ หรือเคยมีชื่ออยู่ในทะเบียนบ้านในจังหวัดที่สมัครรับเลือกตั้ง แล้วแต่กรณี เป็นเวลาติดต่อกันไม่น้อยกว่าห้าปี (มาตรา ๙๗)
