- EnglishNo one may be a candidate for the office of the President of the Republic if they:
– are not exclusively of Togolese nationality by birth;
– are not thirty-five (35) years of age on the date of the deposit of the candidature;
– do not enjoy all their civil and political rights;
– do not present a general state of physical and mental well-being duly declared by three (03) sworn physicians, designated by the Constitutional Court;
– do not reside in the national territory for at least twelve (12) months. (Art. 62) - FrenchNul ne peut être candidat aux fonctions de Président de la République s'il :

- EnglishA prince or princess of the Royal House may not marry unless the Government has given its consent thereto upon an application from The King. (1) The President of the Republic of Moldova is elected by freely-expressed, universal, equal, direct, and secret suffrage.
(2) Any citizen of the Republic of Moldova may run for the office of President of the Republic of Moldova, provided that he/she has the right to vote and is over 40 years of age, had lived or has been living permanently on the territory of the Republic of Moldova for no less than 10 years and speaks the Romanian language.
