- English(a) There shall be a Cabinet of Ministers appointed by the President, with responsibility for the duties and functions assigned to them by the President, this Constitution and the law.
(b) The Cabinet shall consist of the Vice President, the Ministers given responsibility for the different Ministries, and the Attorney General.
(c) Except for the Vice President, the President must receive the approval of the People’s Majlis for all appointments to the Cabinet.
(d) The President shall submit to the People’s Majlis, within seven days of making appointments to the Cabinet the names of the appointees to the Cabinet for approval of the People’s Majlis. (Art. 129) - Dhivehi(ހ) ރައީސުލްޖުމްހޫރިއްޔާ ހަވާލުކުރާ ކަންތައްތަކާއި މި ޤާނޫނުއަސާސީންނާއި ޤާނޫނުން ޙަވާލުކުރެވޭ ކަންތައްތައް ކުރުމަށްޓަކައި ރައީސުލްޖުމްހޫރިއްޔާ އައްޔަންކުރާ ވަޒީރުންގެ މަޖިލީހެއް އޮންނަންވާނެއެވެ.
(ށ) ވަޒީރުންގެ މަޖިލިސް އެކިލެވިގެންވަނީ، ރައީސުލްޖުމްހޫރިއްޔާގެ ނައިބާއި، އެކިއެކި ވުޒާރާތައް ހިންގުމާ ރަޢީސުލްޖުމްހޫރިއްޔާ ހަވާލުކުރާ ވަޒީރުންނާއި، ބަންޑާރަނައިބުގެ މައްޗަށެވެ.
(ނ) ރައީސުލްޖުމްހޫރިއްޔާގެ ނައިބު ފިޔަވައި، ވަޒީރުންގެ މަޖިލީހަށް ޢައްޔަންކުރާ އެހެން މެންބަރުން އެ މަޖިލީހަށް އައްޔަންކުރުމަށްފަހު ރައްޔިތުންގެމަޖިލީހުގެ ރުހުން ހޯދަންވާނެއެވެ.
(ރ) ވަޒީރުންގެމަޖިލީހަށް ރައީސްލްޖުމްހޫރިއްޔާ އައްޔަންކުރާ މީހުންގެ ނަންތައް، އެމީހުން އައްޔަންކުރެވޭ ދުވަހުންފެށިގެން ހަތަ ދުވަހުގެތެރޭގައި، ރައްޔިތުންގެ މަޖީލީހުގެ ރުހުން ހޯދުމަށްޓަކައި އެ މަޖިލީހަށް ރައީސުލްޖުމްހޫރިއްޔާ ހުށަހަޅާންވާނެއެވެ. (ޤާނޫނުއަސާސީގެ 129 ވަނަ މާއްދާ)
