The people choose their representatives freely.
The representation of the people has no other limits than those established by the Constitution and the electoral law. (Art. 12) - Arabic
الشّعب حرّ في اختيار ممثّليه.
لا حدود لتمثيل الشّعب، إلاّ ما نصّ عليه الدّستور وقانون الانتخابات. (المــادة 12) - French
Le peuple choisit librement ses représentants.
La représentation du peuple n'a d'autres limites que celles fixées par la Constitution et la loi électorale. (Art. 12)
Political Rights and Association

The State is founded on the principles of democratic representation, of separation of the powers, of the guarantee of the rights and freedoms and of social justice.
The elected assembly constitutes the framework by which the will of the people is expressed and the control of the action of the public powers is exercised.
The State encourages participative democracy at the level of the local collectivities, notably through civil society. (Art. 16) - Arabic
تقوم الدولة عـلى ى مبادئ التمثيل الديمقراطي، والفصل بين السلطات، وضمان الحقوق والحريات والعدالة الاجتماعية.
المجلس المنتخَب هو الإطار الذّي يعبّر فيه الشّعب عن إرادته، ويــراقب عمل السّلطات العموميّة.
تشجع الدولة الديمقراطية التشاركية على مستوى الجماعات المحلية، لاسيما من خلال المجتمع المدني. (المــادة 16) - French
L'Etat est fondé sur les principes de la représentation démocratique, de la séparation des pouvoirs, de la garantie des droits et libertés et de justice sociale.
L'Assemblée élue constitue le cadre dans lequel s'exprime la volonté du peuple et s'exerce le contrôle de l'action des pouvoirs publics.
L'Etat encourage la démocratie participative au niveau des collectivités locales, notamment à travers la société civile. (Art. 16)

The institutions of the Republic have as [their] purpose to assure the equality in rights and in duties of all the citizens [masculine] and citizens [feminine] by removing the obstacles which hinder the development of the human person and prevent the effective participation of all in political, economic, social and cultural life. تضمن الدولة الحقوق الأساسية والحريات.
تستهدف مؤسسات الجمهورية ضمان مساواة كلّ المواطنين والمواطنات في الحقوق والواجبات بإزالة العقبات الّتي تعوق تفتّح شخصيّة الإنسان، وتحول دون المشاركة الفعلية للجميع في الحياة السّياسيّة، والاقتصاديّة، والاجتماعيّة، والثّقافيّة. (المــادة 35) - French

Les institutions de la République ont pour finalité d'assurer l'égalité en droits et en devoirs de tous les citoyens et citoyennes en supprimant les obstacles qui entravent l'épanouissement de la personne humaine et empêchent la participation effective de tous à la vie politique, économique, sociale et culturelle. (Art. 35)

The right to create associations is guaranteed. It is exercised by simple declaration.
The State encourages associations of public utility.
An organic law determines the conditions and the modalities of [the] creation of associations.
The associations may only be dissolved by virtue of a decision of justice. (Art. 53) - Arabic
حقّ إنشاء الجمعيّات مضمون، ويمارس بمجرد التصريح به.
تشجع الدولة الجمعيات ذات المنفعة العامة.
يحدّد قانون عضوي شروط وكيفيات إنشاء الجمعيّات.
لا تحل الجمعيات إلاّ بمقتضى قرار قضائي. (المــادة 53) - French
Le droit de créer des associations est garanti. Il s’exerce par simple déclaration.
L’Etat encourage les associations d’utilité publique.
Une loi organique détermine les conditions et les modalités de création des associations.
Les associations ne peuvent être dissoutes qu’en vertu d’une décision de justice. (Art. 53)

The State works for the promotion of the political rights of women by encouraging their opportunities of access to representation in the elected assemblies.
The conditions of application of this provision are established by an organic law. (Art. 59) - Arabic
: تعمل الدولة على ترقية الحقوق السياسية للمرأة بتوسيع حظوظ تمثيلها في المجالس المنتخبة.
يحدد قانون عضوي شروط تطبيق هذا الحكم. (المــادة 59) - French
L'Etat œuvre à la promotion des droits politiques de la femme en encourageant ses chances d'accès à la représentation dans les assemblées élues.
Les conditions d'application de cette disposition sont fixées par une loi organique. (Art. 59)
