Employment Rights and Protection

Work is a right and a duty.
All work merits a salary.
The right to protection, to security and to hygiene at work, is guaranteed by the law.
The right to rest is guaranteed; the law determines the modalities of [its] exercise.
The right of the worker to social security is guaranteed by the law.
The employment of children is punished by the law.
The State works for the promotion of apprenticeship and implements policies to help the creation of employments.
The law determines the conditions for requisition of personnel for the needs of general interest. (Art. 66) - Arabic
العمل حق وواجب.
كل عمل يقابله أجر.
يضمن القانون أثناء العمل الحقّ في الحماية، والأمن، والنّظافة.
الحقّ في الرّاحة مضمون، ويحدّد القانون شروط ممارسته.
يضمن القانون حق العامل في الضمان الاجتماعي.
يعاقب القانون على تشغيل الأطفال.
تعمل الدولة على ترقية التمهين وتضع سياسات للمساعدة على استحداث مناصب الشغل.
يحدد القانون شروط تسخير المستخدَمين لأغراض المصلحة العامة. (المــادة 66) - French
Le travail est un droit et un devoir.
Tout travail mérite salaire.
Le droit à la protection, à la sécurité et à l'hygiène dans le travail, est garanti par la loi.
Le droit au repos est garanti ; la loi en détermine les conditions d'exercice.
Le droit du travailleur à la sécurité sociale est garanti par la loi.
L'emploi des enfants est puni par la loi.
L'Etat œuvre à la promotion de l'apprentissage et met en place les politiques d'aide à la création d'emplois.
La loi détermine les conditions de réquisition des personnels pour les besoins d’intérêt général. (Art. 66)

Equal access to the functions and to employments within the State is guaranteed to all citizens, with the exception of those linked to national sovereignty and security.
The law establishes the conditions of implementation of this provision. (Art. 67) - Arabic
يتساوى جميع المواطنين في تقلّد المهام والوظائف في الدّولة، باستثناء المهام والوظائف ذات الصلة بالسيادة والأمن الوطنيين.
يحدد القانون شروط تطبيق هذا الحكم. (المــادة 67) - French
L'égal accès aux fonctions et aux emplois au sein de l'Etat est garanti à tous les citoyens, à l’exception de ceux liés à la souveraineté et à la sécurité nationales.
La loi fixe les conditions de mise en œuvre de cette disposition. (Art. 67)

The State works to promote parity between men and women in the market of employment.
The State encourages the promotion of women to responsibilities in the public institutions and administrations as well as at the level of enterprises. (Art. 68) - Arabic
تعمل الدولة على ترقية التناصف بين الرجال والنساء في سوق التشغيل.
تشجع الدولة ترقية المرأة في مناصب المسؤولية في الهيئات والإدارات العمومية وعلى مستوى المؤسسات. (المــادة 68) - French
L'Etat œuvre à promouvoir la parité entre les hommes et les femmes sur le marché de l'emploi.
L'Etat encourage la promotion de la femme aux responsabilités dans les institutions et administrations publiques ainsi qu'au niveau des entreprises. (Art. 68)
