Elle assure à tous l'égalité devant la loi sans distinction de sexe, d'origine sociale, raciale, ethnique ou religieuse.

Toute propagande particulariste de caractère régionaliste, raciale ou ethnique, toute manifestation de discrimination raciale, sociale, sexiste, ethnique, politique ou religieuse sont punies par la loi. (Art. 8)
Equality and Non-Discrimination
- EnglishAll Nigeriens are born and remain free and equal in rights and in duties. However, the access of certain categories of citizens to electoral mandates, to elective functions and to public employments may be favored by particular measures specified by the law. (Art. 10)
