Equality and Non-Discrimination
  • English
    1. All citizens shall be equal before the law, shall enjoy the same rights and shall be subject to the same duties, without distinction as to social origin, race, sex, political leaning, religious belief or philosophical conviction.
    2. Women shall be equal to men in rights and duties, with the guarantee of full participation in political, economic, social and cultural life. (Art. 15)

    1. Todos os cidadãos são iguais perante a lei, gozam dos mesmos direitos e estão sujeitos aos mesmos deveres, sem distinção de origem social, raça, sexo, tendência política, crença religiosa ou convicção filosófica.
    2. A mulher é igual ao homem em direitos e deveres, sendo-lhe assegurada plena participação na vida política, económica, social e cultural. (Art. 15)
