Protection from Violence
- English… The state undertakes to disseminate the values of moderation and tolerance and the protection of the sacred, and the prohibition of all violations thereof. It undertakes equally to prohibit and fight against calls for Takfir and the incitement of violence and hatred. (Art. 6)
- Arabicتلتزم الدولة بنشر قيم الاعتدال والتسامح وبحماية المقدّسات ومنع النيل منها، كما تلتزم بمنع دعوات التكفير والتحريض على الكراهية والعنف وبالتّصدي لها. … (الفصل 6)
- French… L’État s’engage à diffuser les valeurs de modération et de tolérance et à protéger le sacré et empêcher qu’on y porte atteinte. Il s’engage également à prohiber et empêcher les accusations d’apostasie, ainsi que l’incitation à la haine et à la violence et à les juguler. (Art. 6)
Protection from Violence
- EnglishThe state protects human dignity and physical integrity, and prohibits mental and physical torture.
Crimes of torture are not subject to any statute of limitations. (Art. 23) - Arabicتحمي الدّولة كرامة الذّات البشرية، و حرمة الجسد و تمنع التّعذيب المعنوي و المادي ، و لا تسقط جريمة التعذيب بالتقادم. (الفصل 23)
- FrenchL’État protège la dignité de l’être humain et son intégrité physique et interdit la torture morale ou physique. Le crime de torture est imprescriptible. (Art. 23)

The state encourages cultural creativity and supports the strengthening of national culture, its diversity and renewal, in promoting the values of tolerance, rejection of violence, openness to different cultures and dialogue between civilizations. … (Art. 42)
- Arabic… حرّية الإبداع مضمونة، وتشجع الدولة الإبداع الثقافي، وتدعم الثقافة الوطنية في تأصلها وتنوعها وتجددها، بما يكرس قيم التسامح ونبذ العنف والانفتاح على مختلف الثقافات والحوار بين الحضارات. ... (الفصل 42)
- French… La liberté de création est garantie. L’État encourage la créativité culturelle et soutient la culture nationale dans son enracinement, sa diversité et son renouvellement, en vue de consacrer les valeurs de tolérance, de rejet de la violence, d’ouverture sur les différentes cultures et de dialogue entre lescivilisations.

Protection from Violence

- French… L’État prend les mesures nécessaires en vue d’éliminer la violence contre la femme. (Art. 46)
