Head of State
- EnglishThe Executive Power of the Nation shall be vested in a citizen with the title of "President of the Argentine Nation". (Sec. 87)
- SpanishEl Poder Ejecutivo de la Nación será desempeñado por un ciudadano con el título de "Presidente de la Nación Argentina". (Art. 87)
Head of State
- EnglishTo be elected President or Vice-President of the Nation it is necessary to have been born in the Argentine territory, or to be the son of a native born citizen if born in a foreign country; and to have the other qualifications required to be elected senator. (Sec. 89)
- SpanishPara ser elegido presidente o vicepresidente de la Nación, se requiere haber nacido en el territorio argentino, o ser hijo de ciudadano nativo, habiendo nacido en país extranjero; y las demás calidades exigidas para ser elegido senador. (Art. 89)
Head of State
- EnglishThe President and Vice-President of the Nation shall be directly elected by the people, by second ballot, according to this Constitution. To this end, the national territory shall be a single constituency. (Sec. 94)
- SpanishEl presidente y el vicepresidente de la Nación serán elegidos directamente por el pueblo, en doble vuelta, según lo establece esta Constitución. A este fin el territorio nacional conformará un distrito único. (Art. 94)

- EnglishThe President of the Nation has the following powers:
1.- He is the supreme head of the Nation, head of the government and he is politically responsible for the general administration of the country.
