Vice-President
  • English
    To be Vice President of the Republic, one must have reached the age of thirty-five, be in full enjoyment of their civil and political rights, be a Cuban citizen through birth and not possess any other citizenship.
    The Vice President is elected in the same form and for the same period and mandate limit as the President of the Republic. (Art. 129)

    Para ser Vicepresidente de la República se requiere haber cumplido treinta y cinco años de edad, hallarse en pleno goce de los derechos civiles y políticos, ser ciudadano cubano por nacimiento y no tener otra ciudadanía.
    Es elegido de la misma forma, por igual período y limitación de mandato que el Presidente de la República. (Art. 129)
