Employment Rights and Protection
- English… The citizens of Afghanistan shall be recruited by the state on the basis of ability, without any discrimination, according to the provisions of the law. (Art. 50)
- Dari... اتباع افغانستان بر اساس اهلیت و بدون هیچگونه تبعیض و به موجب احكام قانون به خدمت دولت پذیرفته می شوند. (مادۀ ۵۰)
- Pashtoد افغانستان اتباع د اهليت له مخې او له هر ډول توپير څخه پرته د قانون له حكمونو سره سم د دولت خدمت ته منل كيږي. (۵۰ ماده)
Employment Rights and Protection
- EnglishWork is the right of every Afghan. Working hours, paid holidays, employment and employee rights and related matters shall be regulated by the law. Choice of occupation and craft shall be free within the bounds of law. (Art. 48)
- Dariكار حق هر افغان است. تعیین ساعات كار، رخصتی با مزد، حقوق كار و كارگر و سایر امور مربوط به آن توسط قانون تنظیم میگردد. انتخاب شغل و حرفه، در حدود احكام قانون، آزاد می باشد. (مادۀ ۴۸)
- Pashtoكار، د هر افغان حق دي. د كار د ساعتونو ټاكل، او با معاشه رخصتي، د كار او كارگر حقوق او له هغو سره نورې مربوطې چارې د قانون له ليارې تنظيمېږي. د قانون د حكمونو په حدودو كې د كار او كسب انتخاب آزاد دى. (۴۸ ماده)

Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan 2004 (English). According to Art. 16: “From amongst Pashto, Dari, Uzbeki, Turkmani, Baluchi, Pachaie, Nuristani, Pamiri, and other current languages in the country, Pashto and Dari shall be the official languages of the state. ...” This Constitution is currently suspended.
