Protection from Violence
- EnglishPersecution of human beings shall be forbidden. No one shall be allowed to or order torture, even for discovering the truth from another individual who is under investigation, arrest, detention or has been convicted to be punished. Punishment contrary to human dignity shall be prohibited. (Art. 29)
- Dariتعذیب انسان ممنوع است. هیچ شخص نمی تواند حتی به مقصد كشف حقایق از شخص دیگر، اگر چه تحت تعقیب، گرفتاری یا توقیف و یا محكوم به جزا باشد، به تعذیب او اقدام كند یا امر بدهد. تعیین جزایی كه مخالف كرامت انسانی باشد، ممنوع است. (مادۀ ۲۹)
- Pashtoد انسان تعذيب منع دى. هيڅوك نه شي كولاى چې له بل شخص څخه حتى د حقايقو د ترلاسه كولو لپاره كه څه هم تر تعقيب، نيونې يا توقيف لاندې وي او يا په جزا محكوم وي، د هغه د تعذيب لپاره اقدام وكړي يا يې د تعذيب امر وركړي. د انساني كرامت مخالفې جزاء ټاكل منع دي. (۲۹ ماده)
Protection from Violence

Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan 2004 (English). According to Art. 16: “From amongst Pashto, Dari, Uzbeki, Turkmani, Baluchi, Pachaie, Nuristani, Pamiri, and other current languages in the country, Pashto and Dari shall be the official languages of the state. ...” This Constitution is currently suspended.
