Employment Rights and Protection
- EnglishI. Work is the basis of individual and social well-being.
II. Everyone, depending on working skills, has the right to freely choose the activity, profession, position and area of employment.
III. No one can be forced to work.
IV. Labor contracts are freely signed. No one can be forced to sign contracts.
V. On the basis of [a] court decision, it is permissible under conditions specified by law to impose hard labor, forcing them to work under orders issued by authorized officials to perform required work during a state of emergency or martial law.
VI. Everyone has the right to work under safe and healthy conditions, to receive without distinction no less than the minimum salary fixed by the State for fulfilled labor.
VII. The unemployed have the right to receive social benefits from the State.
VIII. The State shall do everything in its power to eradicate unemployment. (Art. 35) - AzerbaijaniI. Əmək fərdi və ictimai rifahın əsasıdır.
II. Hər kəsin əməyə olan qabiliyyəti əsasında sərbəst surətdə özünə fəaliyyət növü, peşə, məşğuliyyət və iş yeri seçmək hüququ vardır.
III. Heç kəs zorla işlədilə bilməz.
IV. Əmək müqavilələri sərbəst bağlanılır. Heç kəs əmək müqaviləsi bağlamağa məcbur edilə bilməz.
V. Məhkəmə qərarı əsasında şərtləri və müddətləri qanunla nəzərdə tutulan məcburi əməyə cəlb etmək, hərbi xidmət zamanı səlahiyyətli şəxslərin əmrlərinin yerinə yetirilməsi ilə əlaqədar işlətmək, fövqəladə vəziyyət zamanı və hәrbi vəziyyət vətəndaşlara tələb olunan işləri gördürmək hallarına yol verilir.
VI. Hər kəsin təhlükəsiz və sağlam şəraitdə işləmək, heç bir ayrı-seçkilik qoyulmadan öz işinə görə dövlətin müəyyənləşdirdiyi minimum əmək haqqı miqdarından az olmayan haqq almaq hüququ vardır.
VII. İşsizlərin dövlətdən sosial müavinət almaq hüququ vardır.
VIII. Dövlət işsizliyin aradan qaldırılması üçün bütün imkanlarından istifadə edir. (Maddə 35)

II. To people working on contract with [a] maximum 8-hour working day, rest and holiday days, at least 21-day paid annual leave is guaranteed. (Art. 37) - AzerbaijaniI. Hər kəsin istirahət hüququ vardır.
II. Əmək müqaviləsi ilə işləyənlərə qanunla müəyyən edilmiş, lakin gündə 8 saatdan artıq olmayan iş günü, istirahət və bayram günləri, ildə azı bir dəfə 21 təqvim günündən az olmayan ödənişli məzuniyyət verilməsi təmin edilir. (Maddə 37)
