Equality and Non-Discrimination

In order to attain the objectives specified in Article 2, the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran has the duty of directing all its resources to the following goals:

9. the abolition of all forms of undesirable discrimination and the provision of equitable opportunities for all, in both the material and spiritual spheres;

14. securing the multifarious rights of all citizens, both women and men, and providing fair legal security for all, as well as the equality of all before the law;

دولت جمهوری اسلامی ایران موظف است برای نیل به اهداف مذکور در اصل دوم، همه امکانات خود را برای امور زیر به کار برد:

9- رفع تبعیضات ناروا و ایجاد امکانات عادلانه برای همه، در تمام زمینههای مادی و معنوی.
…
14- تأمین حقوق همهجانبه افراد از زن و مرد و ایجاد امنیت قضایی عادلانه برای همه و تساوی عموم در برابر قانون.

Equality and Non-Discrimination

All people of Iran, whatever the ethnic group or tribe to which they belong, enjoy equal rights; and colour, race, language, and the like, do not bestow any privilege. (Art. 19)

مردم ایران از هر قوم و قبیله که باشند از حقوق مساوی برخوردارند و رنگ، نژاد، زبان و مانند اینها سبب امتیاز نخواهد بود. (اصل 19)

All citizens of the country, both men and women, equally enjoy the protection of the law and enjoy all human, political, economic, social, and cultural rights, in conformity with Islamic criteria. (Art. 20)

همه افراد ملت اعم از زن و مرد یکسان در حمایت قانون قرار دارند و از همه حقوق انسانی، سیاسی، اقتصادی، اجتماعی و فرهنگی با رعایت موازین اسلام برخوردارند. (اصل 20)
