This Basic Law shall not affect the validity of any law that existed prior to the inception of the Basic Law. (Basic Law: Human Dignity and Liberty (1992), Sec. 10)

The constitutional order of Israel exists of multiple Basic Laws. According to Sec. 4(a) of Basic Law: Israel - The Nation State of the Jewish People (2018): "Hebrew is the language of the State."
