2. تنشأ بقانون هيئة مستقلة تدير الانتخابات النيابية والبلدية وأي انتخابات عامة وفقاً لأحكام القانون، ولمجلس الوزراء تكليـف الهيئة المسـتقلة بإدارة أي انتخابات أخرى أو الإشـراف عليها بناء على طلب. الجهة المخولة قانوناً بـإجراء تلك الانتخابات. (المادّة 67)
