Obligations of the State
  • English
    (1) Any law, or any custom or usage having the force of law, in so far as it is inconsistent with the rights conferred by this Chapter,3shall, to the extent of such inconsistency, be void.
    (2) The State4 shall not make any law which takes away or abridges the rights so conferred and any law made in contravention of this clause shall, to the extent of such contravention, be void.

    (ا) کوئی قانون، یا رسم یا رواج جو قانون کا حکم رکھتا ہو، تناقض کی اس حد تک کالعدم ہو گا جس حد تک وہ اس باب میں عطاکردہ حقوق کا نقیض ہو۔
    (۲) مملکت کوئی ایسا قانون وضع نہیں کرے گی جو بایں طور عطاکردہ حقوق کو سلب یا کم کرے اور ہر وہ قانون جو اس شق کی خلاف ورزی میں وضع کیا جائے اس خلاف ورزی کی حد تک کالعدم ہو گا۔
