Status of the Constitution

    The legislation in force and passed before approving this Constitution remain in force until they are amended in accordance with its provisions, provided that the amendment is done within a period of no longer than 3 years. (Art. 154)

    تبقى التّشريعات النافذة والصّادرة قبل إقرار هذا الدستور سارية المفعول إلى أن تُعدل بما يتوافق مع أحكامه، على أن يتم التعديل خلال مدة لا تتجاوز ثلاث سنوات ميلادية. (المادّة 154)
