Status of International Law

    The Republic of Estonia may not enter into international treaties which are in conflict with the Constitution.
    When laws or other legislation of Estonia are in conflict with an international treaty ratified by the Riigikogu, provisions of the international treaty apply. (Sec. 123)

    Eesti Vabariik ei sõlmi välislepinguid, mis on vastuolus põhiseadusega.
    Kui Eesti seadused või muud aktid on vastuolus Riigikogu poolt ratifitseeritud välislepingutega, kohaldatakse välislepingu sätteid. (§ 123)
