Employment Rights and Protection

Freedom of work is guaranteed. Its practice is determined by law.
Priority is granted to Monegasques for the obtainment of public and private positions, in the circumstances prescribed by law or international conventions. (Art. 25) - French
La liberté du travail est garantie. Son exercice est réglementé par la loi.
La priorité est assurée aux Monégasques pour l'accession aux emplois publics et privés, dans les conditions prévues par la loi ou les conventions internationales. (Art. 25)

Monegasques are entitled to the assistance of the State in the event of … unemployment … and maternity in the circumstances and manner laid down by law. (Art. 26)

Les Monégasques ont droit à l'aide de l'Etat en cas … chômage … et maternité, dans les conditions et formes prévues par la loi. (Art. 26)
