Political Rights and Association

    1 All Swiss citizens over the age of eighteen, unless they lack legal capacity due to mental illness or mental incapacity, have political rights in federal matters. All citizens have the same political rights and duties.
    2 They may participate in elections to the National Council and in federal popular votes, and launch or sign popular initiatives and requests for referendums in federal matters. (Art 136)

    1 Tous les Suisses et toutes les Suissesses ayant 18 ans révolus qui ne sont pas interdits pour cause de maladie mentale ou de faiblesse d’esprit ont les droits politiques en matière fédérale. Tous ont les mêmes droits et devoirs politiques.
    2 Ils peuvent prendre part à l’élection du Conseil national et aux votations fédérales et lancer et signer des initiatives populaires et des demandes de référendum en matière fédérale. (Art. 136)

    2 Esse possono partecipare alle elezioni del Consiglio nazionale e alle votazioni federali, nonché lanciare e firmare iniziative popolari e referendum in materia federale. (Art. 136)
