Limitations and/or Derogations
- EnglishHuman and citizens’ rights and freedoms affirmed by this Constitution are not exhaustive.
Constitutional rights and freedoms are guaranteed and shall not be abolished.
The content and scope of existing rights and freedoms shall not be diminished by an adoption of new laws or by introducing amendments to the effective laws. (Art. 22) - UkrainianПрава і свободи людини і громадянина, закріплені цією Конституцією, не є вичерпними.
Конституційні права і свободи гарантуються і не можуть бути скасовані.
При прийнятті нових законів або внесенні змін до чинних законів не допускається звуження змісту та обсягу існуючих прав і свобод. (Стаття 22)
Limitations and/or Derogations
- EnglishEvery person has the right to free development of his or her personality if the rights and freedoms of other persons are not violated thereby, and has duties before the society in which the free and comprehensive development of his or her personality is ensured. (Art. 23)
- UkrainianКожна людина має право на вільний розвиток своєї особистості, якщо при цьому не порушуються права і свободи інших людей, та має обов'язки перед суспільством, в якому забезпечується вільний і всебічний розвиток її особистості. (Стаття 23)
Limitations and/or Derogations
- EnglishConstitutional human and citizens' rights and freedoms shall not be restricted, unless a restriction is stipulated by the Constitution of Ukraine.
Under conditions of martial law or a state of emergency, specific restrictions on rights and freedoms may be established with the indication of the period of effectiveness of these restrictions. The rights and freedoms stipulated in Articles 24, 25, 2 7, 28, 29, 40, 47, 51, 52, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62 and 63 of this Constitution shall not be restricted. (Art. 64) - UkrainianКонституційні права і свободи людини і громадянина не можуть бути обмежені, крім випадків, передбачених Конституцією України.
В умовах воєнного або надзвичайного стану можуть встановлюватися окремі обмеження прав і свобод із зазначенням строку дії цих обмежень. Не можуть бути обмежені права і свободи, передбачені статтями 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 40, 47, 51, 52, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63 цієї Конституції. (Стаття 64)
